Se realizó en la sala Teatro de la Alianza Cultural Uruguay - Estados Unidos la ceremonia de graduación 2019 del Programa Access, en la cual el Embajador Kenneth George realizó la entrega de los diplomas de reconocimiento a los graduados y a sus profesoras. Además, ofreció un discurso motivacional a los graduados y tuvo la oportunidad de conversar personalmente con algunos de ellos.
El programa, auspiciado por el Departamento de Estado 🇺🇸, brinda a alumnos de liceos públicos y UTUs de todo el país la oportunidad de estudiar inglés en la Alianza Cultural uruguay - Estados Unidos durante dos años.
Durante los pasados 11 años, ya fueron 1660 los estudiantes que han accedido a esta beca.

El miércoles, 30 de abril, el Embajador de los EE.UU. de América, James H. Thessin participó de la ceremonia de graduación de un total de 89 jóvenes estudiantes sobresalientes de recursos limitados, de 15 a 17 años, que resultaron ganadores de las becas de inglés Access.
Se realizó en la sala Teatro de la Alianza Cultural Uruguay - Estados Unidos la ceremonia de graduación 2019 del Programa Access, en la cual el Embajador Kenneth George realizó la entrega de los diplomas de reconocimiento a los graduados y a sus profesoras. The New York State Courts Access to Justice Program is dedicated to ensuring access to justice for New Yorkers of all incomes, backgrounds and special needs. As a part of its ongoing efforts, the Access to Justice Program will co-sponsor the 11th Annual Community Law Day with the New York City Bar Association’s Legal Referral Service and the New York State Court Officers Association. The event will be held in Brooklyn on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. outside in front of Kings County Supreme Court at 360 Adams Street.
The 4th and penultimate round of the Mullingar Road League 2012. This 5km race was held on 23rd May 2012 at 8PM on a wonderful sunny warm early Summer's evening. There was a huge attendance at the race. This was race number 4 in the series with the curtain coming down on the race series next Wednesday. Congratulations to everyone involved - particular Mullingar Harriers AC who had to work around restrictions on access and car parking in Belvedere tonight. Tonight showed everything that was good about local, club-based athletics in Ireland.
The Mullingar Harriers athletic club organise this league of races every May for the promotion of participation in sport and physical activity and to honour the memory of Pat Finnerty, a former Chairman of the Harriers who gave enormous service to Mullingar Harriers and athletics over many years. The Road League caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities.
The Road League is run on traffic free roads and trails in Belvedere House and Gardens and Park just outside Mullingar on the Tullamore Road. Belvedere House is situated in 160 acres of lakeside parkland on the shores of Lough Ennell.

I am a big fan of the All Access Ship Tour and was glad these were running again when I was on the Anthem of the Seas. Here is the description from Royal Caribbean: "Get a behind-the-scenes look at what we do to create your best vacation ever. Join your friendly guide for an exclusive narrated tour onboard your ship. Start off in the dining room, where you'll find out what our crew does to get ready for every meal, plus try to set up a table yourself. Do you know where to place the water glass or soup spoon? Walk through the main galley to see how our delicious dishes are prepared, plus take a look at the provision area to see all of the ingredients we need to have on hand. It's a lot! Then step inside the engine control room, where we monitor the systems used throughout the ship. You'll also visit the ship's vast laundry facilities. See where anything from napkins, tablecloths and sheets to beach towels and the laundry you request gets cleaned and folded. Plus, you'll have a chance to stroll the I-95, the long corridor in the crew's area, named after the longest highway on the U.S. east coast. The cruise embarks from Cape Liberty (Bayone, NJ) with stops at Labadee, Haiti and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic before heading back to New York City. The itinerary changed after Hurricane Nicole canceled our planned stops.
