Qualche anno fa in pieno centro a Milano, si potevano trovare ancora edifici così. Oggi non credo ci sia più.
Hello! I'm sitting on my hostel bed while I type on my iPhone. Luckily
this hostel has free wireless. Not much computer access though as the
office here is always locked because its not tourist season here yet.
So my only picture of Reykjavik I can share at the moment is from my
phone and it doesn't do the city justice. City surrounded by mountains
and water with the sun peeking through is amazing in person.
I met my roomate in the hostel today. A really nice Portuguese guy who
currently lives in my next destination, Oslo. He's been sharing lots
of information and travel stories with me. It was perfect timing
actually because it's my first day touring alone and I was starting to
have mild shock at the feelings of isolation and lonesomeness.
Fortunately for me, Manuel is extremely nice and friendly. Too bad he
leaves tomorrow.
As for me, tomorrow I've booked a tour around some of Iceland's
scenery which I'm expecting to be full of tourists so hopefully I can
chat people up there and lessen the culture shock.
Icelandic people are friendly for the most part and many speak fluent
English. It's still a shock to the system however as most signs are in
Icelandic writing or have Icrlandic names. I have a map in front of my
face constantly because it's very hard for me to remember "Turn at
Smidjustigur." or "Walk down Skolavordustigur road."

Además, ofreció un discurso motivacional a los graduados y tuvo la oportunidad de conversar personalmente con algunos de ellos.
