The title comes from the 'F.B. Access' sign, (F.B. being my initials).
This is somewhat ironic as after taking this picture, a security guard came up to me to tell me I could not take pictures of this building as it is 'Government Property' and I was being watched by people on the 3rd floor.
I asked the guy why they made the building so photogenic if you werent supposed to take pictures of it, but he had no answer.
I cant help wondering if 'the Government' dont have better things to do than look out of the window.

Access denied
All of the smarter kids they stay inside
But out in the pouring rain
You're kicking me with that look of sheer disdain

Some collieries were easy to access particularly so I found in South Wales. It also on occasions helped to have contacts. Bold Colliery was harder to get into, the formal front-door approach having been met with a definite No!
There was a footbridge which crossed the mainline which gave access for the workers who lived on the local estate and once in contact with the non-administerative staff they were very welcoming. In this photo the enthusiast on the left had however found another route which was via the entrance from the mainline which was closed so had to crawl under the gap underneath. Access to the entrance must also have been fun as he arrived covered in RoseBay Willowherb and other sundry vegetation. So not the best photo but it allows me to tell the story.
Austerity Hunslet 3163/44 0-6-0ST Joseph is seen bringing another rake of empty MGR's from the mainline connection at Bold Colliery in July 1983.
You will change here real money to digital money and not the other way around as the word ATM suggests - according to Wikipedia .

My mom took this one for me when I was young, seen is one of the tight access trucks my city has when it was brand new. It has a Mercedes Actros chassis and Rotopress body with a single lifter. My city still has this truck but of course it is quite dirty nowadays even though it has always collected recycling :D

Access to water for agriculture purposes has been a main challenge for schools participating in FAO’s project. The project has therefore provided the school with water harvesting structures (1 per school) to capture rainwater as the rainy season progresses.

No real history found scouring the internet but my experience is that its harder to get into a prison than out.
The impromptu 2 day tour with camerashy and host to France and Belgium, with some new places, a lot of travel with minimal sleep and some goals being accomplished by getting to a certain school.

Access -- A means of approaching, entering, exiting, or making use of.
The SPC challenge theme for September is 'Portals' (doors, windows, gates, tunnels, etc.).
I've always been fascinated by this door, but never stopped to photograph it until today.

The Devil’s Staircase Wilderness, nestled along the Umpqua River east of Reedsport, Oregon, is a rugged and largely inaccessible area of old-growth forest in the Oregon Coast Range. Douglas-fir, western hemlock and cedar trees tower over underbrush of giant ferns and huckleberries, providing critical habitat for the northern spotted owl and marbled murrelet. The remoteness and steepness of the area has precluded most logging activity, and no developed trails provide present-day access to the wilderness, so the area remains largely untouched by man. The U.S. Forest Service and the BLM cooperatively manage the 30,000-acre wilderness, with the BLM responsible for approximately 8,600 acres.
Know Before You Go:
•Single lane gravel or paved roads access the area;
•High clearance vehicle is recommended;
•No motorized vehicles are allowed within the wilderness boundary;
•There are no facilities or developed trails in the wilderness; and
•Cell phone and GPS coverage in the area is intermittent.
Point of Interest:
Wasson Lake, located on the eastern boundary of the wilderness, is a pond with fluctuating water levels and is dotted with stumps from a long-ago forest.
Location:
The wilderness covers 30,000 acres of land between Reedsport and Scottsburg, Oregon, north of the Umpqua River.

The Erie Bluffs are behind me in this picture. Some areas are 80+ feet above the shore. If you're into outdoor activities this is a place that you could easily spend the whole day doing a variety of things.
