I have long ago accepted that I am a little crazy and a little weird. It wasn't that exciting a revelation though. Turns out everyone is.

Well my friends WELCOME to 2018 .A year of peace, joy and happiness.
A year made for manifestation and wishes fullfield but also for love, tolerance and kindness.
A year in which for the sake of humanity and of our own happiness we need to remember how to build bridges, unions and relationships instead of breaking them how we did last year.
A year thatt I know it can make all our dreams come true and the world a better place, if we can only stick together in a place of love and positivity and not allow personal fears, frustrations and failures to turn us one against each other.
A year in which I know we can really find the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change what can be changed and the wisdom to know the difference if we understand the importance of it.
A year that I know it can become the best one ever no matter the cicumstances if we can only decide that it will be so and hold this decision in our hearths with love and faith all through our daily ups and downs.
Happy New Year!!! my friends.
And much peace&love to
you all!

INFO 'The Domesday Book records Ringmore as a Devon Manor known then as ‘Ronmore’. Stephen de Haccombe, and his successors are know to have built three chapels in the area, two survive as chapels today, one at Haccombe, and the other is St Nicholas in Ringmore, Shaldon.
The third local chapel is only a ruin. Church Architects are of the opinion the St Nicholas is of 13th Century origins, a fact borne out by the East end Wall with it’s Lancet window-a fact accepted as proof.
Records of various events refer to this church, and the Register of Baptisms was started in 1616, prior to that, Baptisms had taken place at Haccombe. About this time, the Carew family –now Lords of the Manor of Haccombe, carried out repairs to St Nicholas, but the fabric of the building, and it’s architectural features were kept intact. Haccombe Church supplied the Clergy to the Church until 1621 when the first Clergy signed the Baptism register - Elezeus Coke.
Burial and Marriage registers were than started –and in 1671 Lord Clifford bought several local estates including the Manor of Ringmore with St Nicholas Parish. Bishop Keppel visited the church in 1768 and decided that care was needed to restore the Church.
By 1790 a large extension had been added, and a gallery built, along with various other improvements. Mention of a Church organ was made in 1827, but was then replaced with an early version of the Harmonium called a ‘Seraphine’. 1839 saw a gallery added to the North wall for the Sunday School, and a new roof with a domed skylight and wooden Bell tower added in1841. The original font had been removed, and replaced by the existing font-which is Saxon or early Norman.
Reverend Richard Marsh-Dunn cancelled plans for any more changes to St Nicholas, as he had decided to build a new church on the reclaimed land on Riverside in Shaldon.
This was consecrated and dedicated to St.Peter, and became the new Parish Church of St.Nicholas, South Devon in 1903. St Nicholas was subsequently renovated with funds generated by a generous benefactor, and was given the official title of Chapel of Ease.'
The great historic barrier of the Caucasus Mountains rises up across the wide isthmus separating the Black and Caspian seas in the region where Europe and Asia converge. Trending generally from northwest to southeast, the mountains consist of two ranges—the Greater Caucasus (Russian: Bolshoy Kavkaz) in the north and the Lesser Caucasus (Maly Kavkaz) in the south. Mount Elbrus in the Greater Caucasus range, at 18,510 feet (5,642 metres), is the highest peak. The watershed of the Greater Caucasus, the backbone of the system, traditionally has been part of the line dividing Europe and Asia, but Europe’s eastern boundary has been the subject of much debate. One widely accepted scheme draws the dividing line along the crest of the Greater Caucasus range, putting the portion of the region north of the line in Europe and the portion south of it in Asia. Another puts the western portion of the Caucasus region in Europe and the eastern part (the bulk of Azerbaijan and small portions of Armenia, Georgia, and Russia’s Caspian Sea coast) in Asia. Still another scheme identifies the Aras River and the Turkish border as the line of continental demarcation, thereby locating Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia in Europe.

The Chinguetti Mosque is a mosque in Chinguetti, Mauritania. It was an ancient center of worship created by the founders of the oasis city of Chinguetti in the Adrar region of Mauritania in the thirteenth or fourteenth century. The minaret of this ancient structure is supposed to be the second oldest in continuous use anywhere in the Muslim world.
In the 1970s the mosque was restored through a UNESCO effort, but it, along with the city itself, continues to be threatened by intense desertification.
In 1996 the old town of Chinguetti was added to the Unesco world heritage list, together with the old towns of Ouadane, Tichitt and Oualata.
In Sunni Islam, Chinguetti is generally regarded as the 7th holy city.

The country houses, mansions of Curaçao (called: Landhuis), built in the 17th till 19th centuries, are usually former plantation houses. There used to be about 100 such small plantations on Curaçao.
This country house was built at the beginning of the nineteenth century. Above the south entrance are three dormer windows of a later date; the middle window is marked Año 1870.

The Louvre did not accept (a lot of raining in North France) that the building floats in the middle of the meadow, so that to avoid a hard soil, the landscaper - C.Mosbach - decided to open it to life, playing with the recessed join, more or less large and holes. Link to the weather, the skin is opened to spontaneaous moss system and flowers, relaxation beaches around the museum.
The paths of the park consist of a thin layer of concrete pierced in multiple places for a naturalistic aesthetic and ensure the drainage of the whole. Large round slabs of smooth concrete perforated with filtering materials draw the reception permeable or impermeable.
He saw that Buddhists and Christians must dialogue at a profound spiritual level since those who experienced self-transcendence were no longer in isolation but were able to accept others with openness, freedom, and love, and to dialogue with them at a mature level. Merton noted, “The more I am able to affirm others, to say ‘yes’ to them in myself, by discovering them in myself and myself in them, the more real I am. I am fully real if my own heart says yes to everyone.”

Getting as close as I possibly can on a circuit board, harvested from a remote-controlled power outlet whose remote went belly-up, capturing examples of tiny surface-mount devices, possibly resistors. The ruler scale at the bottom is in millimeters.
Taken with the Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens at 5X magnification. At that setting, the lens has to be less than an inch (25.4mm) from the subject, making lighting difficult. The lens and camera were attached to a macro focusing rail, a necessary but very finicky device (more so at extreme magnification) used to move the camera fore and aft to focus. Given my sometimes uncooperative set of hands I have, it was a challenge, indeed.

"Alcea is a genus of about 60 species of flowering plants in the mallow family Malvaceae, commonly known as the hollyhocks. They are native to Asia and Europe. The single species of hollyhock from the Americas, the streambank wild hollyhock, belongs to a different genus." - Wikipedia

Here is a White-throated Toucanet (Aulacorhynchus albivitta), one of eleven smaller species of toucans within the Aulacorhynchus genus. The White-throated Toucanet inhabits wet forests in the Andes of Venezuela, Colombia, and northern Ecuador at elevations ranging from 1,600 to 3,000 meters.
Note: Although not accepted by all authorities, the White-throated Toucanet was recently split from the Emerald Toucanet to form a separate species.

Mudéjar is the name given to the Moors or Muslims of Al-Andalus who remained in Christian territory after the Reconquista but were not converted to Christianity. It also denotes a style of Iberian architecture and decoration, particularly of Aragon and Castile, of the 12th to 16th centuries, strongly influenced by Moorish taste and workmanship.
The word Mudéjar is a Medieval Spanish corruption of the Arabic word Mudajjan مدجن, meaning "domesticated", in a reference to the Muslims who have submitted to the rule of the Christian kings.
After the fall of Granada in January of 1492, Mudéjars kept their status for some time. However, they were forced to convert to Christianity in the mid 16th century, and were known as Moriscos from that time until those who refused to convert to Christianity were expelled in 1610. Their distinctive style is still evident in architecture as well as the music, art, and crafts of the region.
The wild but socially accepted Wood Ducks of Perrin Park, Jeffersonville Indiana
Years ago a pair of Wood Ducks wintered over at Perrin Park, a small privately owned but open to the public park in Southern Indiana. Many descendants have been produced but always seem to settle elsewhere. Today the two adults and two youngsters, a male and a female enjoyed our beautiful October day.

Prions :
"Seigneur
toi qui veux habiter
les coeurs droits et sincères,
fais-moi réaliser
que je ne vais
vraiment vers toi
que si j'accepte ton désir
de venir en moi".
To accept the dependencies imposed on us by nature is wisdom ; to love them is happiness "Bernard Grasset"
