Maltese Yorkie puppies are half Maltese and half Yorkshire terrier. They are most commonly referred to as Morkies, though they have also been called Yorkteses.
Los Angeles Zoo - Los Angeles, California - Marai the snow leopard cub was born at the Los Angeles Zoo on 5/12/17 to Malaya (Mom) and Bajen (Dad). Her brother and littermate, Meru, was born on 5/13/17.
Mother Malaya was born at the Akron Zoo in Ohio on 4/14/14 and father Bajen was born at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, New York on 6/14/12. This is the first litter for both snow leopards.

One of the three female African lions (Evelyn, Marion and Miss Ellen) born to Oshana and Izu at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, California on 6/22/14. Their brother, Ernest, is also on exhibit at Lion Camp.
