Specs: 4.7 liter overhead valve V8 rated at 330 horsepower, five-speed manual transmission, upper and lower A-arms, hydraulic shock absorbers at front, live rear axle and shocks at the rear, four-wheel vented disc brakes; wheelbase: 100.4”
Maserati Ghiblis show up less frequently than many other classics, but that's because there are not many of them. The Ghibli with its 4-cam V-8 engine, quartet of downdraft Weber carburetors, superb suspension, powerful brakes and sublime Giugiaro-designed, Bertone-built coachwork is one of the greatest Italian GTs.
This 1970 Maserati Ghibli has 4.7 litre V-8 power and air conditioning. It doesn't appear to have been restored, just treated to a high quality repaint in red and new parchment leather upholstery at some time in the past which has been sympathetically maintained while see a little use.
One of the most beautiful GTs ever conceived, its bodywork is a masterpiece of style, balance, design and aerodynamic efficiency. The design and generous interior room benefits from the proportions which its compact V-8 engine permitted. Light, crisp, unadorned and simple, it is a prime example of form and function merging to achieve true design excellence. The 4-cam Maserati V-8 gives it 170 mph performance to match.
A Ghibli will never be upstaged by a Ferrari Daytona either on the road or on a show field and this sympathetically maintained, very presentable Ghibli needs nothing for its owner to appreciate its visual appeal and exceptional performance.

On the last night on the summer. I went camping with my friends. These past three months have been nothing short of incredible - I love every one of them in a way I'd never thought possible. Here are Keshav and Maddie, one of whom I've shot before and another who's been part of Duncan's projects for quite some time. Keshav is already gone. By this time next week, Maddie will be too. Tonight I'm going to help some of the same people I've shared the happiest months of my life with move in to college. Thank you all so much for everything.

~warning warning cliche excuse~
I didn't take a 366 today because I had Spanish after school and it was dark by the time I got home. I could have taken one inside but how boring would that be considering most of them are already inside, but I have a really nice idea for tomorrow's, as it's double figures and all ;)
Another from my lomo camera from the day I broke up from school for Christmas, the first and only snow of the month. It was beautiful.

September 11, 2014 began in Davie County with a prayer breakfast hosted by our friends at WinMock at Kinderton and the raising of a 30’ x 50’ American Flag on the grounds at WinMock. At 7:00 PM on Thursday, 9/11, the community gathered at the County Administration Building just off the square across from the courthouse on South Main Street in Mocksville to dedicate a monument to First Responders in Davie County who have died in the line of duty. The opposite side of the monument bears the names of all emergency/first responder departments in Davie County including medical, rescue, fire and police.

My personal favourite.
Ingredients: All shot with a single 580ex flashgun at full power, remotely triggered with a wireless trigger purchased on eBay. Flash fired from beneath, through a frosted glass bowl perched on a white plastic bin. Background is a 5-in-1 reflector on the black side.
Method: Darken room. Open shutter (I suggest two to four seconds or thereabouts), drop objects into water. Fire flashgun remotely at appropriate time as determined by you. Firing flash at different times will make for different splash patterns. Method could be improved with use of sound trigger for flash.
Strobist info: 1 x 580ex at full power fired from beneath through a frosted glass salad bowl.
