Another shot from the recent holiday in La Palma, this time we were walking on the west coast of the island, this is of some pretty spectacular port defences at Puerto Deportivo de Tazacorte, the scale was quite something, apparently the last port in Europe...before the Americas....

On Bringsty Common, near Bromyard in Herefordshire. A bright autumn morning. The sunshine breaks through the trees that stand around the trig. point at the summit of the common; a lofty 150 meters above sea level!

Two buddhist tibetan monks, in their red habits, are enjoying the sunset on the Royal Palace terrace of Leh, in Ladakh, India. The mountain range on the far side is the Himalaya.

Sonnenberg Gardens, also known as Sonnenberg Gardens and Mansion State Historic Park, Canandaigua, New York, USA, at the North end of Canandaigua Lake, in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. The house and gardens are open to the public every day, May through October.
After a week with rain and storm the weather calmed down and the temperatures dropped significantly. We used Saturday for a trip into the Detmold Area to visit the Externsteine and the Hermansdenkmal.
Another view of the Reculver Church ruins, from the beach and after sunset, the silhoutte is almost haunting...

Inaguro nueva temporada con una increible serie que refleja lo que la luz es capaz de hacer en un día de densa niebla, en lo profundo de un bosque gallego ...... he seleccionado ocho imágenes de las docenas de fotos hechas entre la sorpresa y el disfrute que nos deparó este paseo por los montes de Tomiño buscando setas, un domingo cualquiera de primeros de Diciembre.
