It was a bright sunny day with so many birds on the road.I was waiting for this perticular moment, when birds and people would come together in a single frame.

Love the way I have framed this image, of a woman with a few birds in the background sky. I love the color contrast too.

A spectacular little trail near Machu Picchu takes us in half an hour to the Inca Bridge. This suspension bridge could be raised or lowered to control access to the citadel.

Un petit sentier spectaculaire à proximité du Machu Picchu nous amène en 1/2 heure au Pont de l'Inca. Ce pont suspendu pouvait être levé ou baissé pour contrôler l'accès à la citadelle.

Gweek (Cornish for forest village) is at the head of navigation of the Helford River, about three miles east of Helston in the west of Cornwall. It has been a port since Roman times and was a thriving port in the Tudor period with its own Customs House. During the mining boom, a tin-smelting blowing house operated at the quayside. In 1848 it was reported that: "The pilchard-fishery is carried on extensively, 200 boats being employed in taking the fish, which are cured in the various creeks and coves within the limits of the port. In addition to the fishery, the chief trade consists in the exportation of copper-ore, corn, moorstone (presumably granite), and oysters, and the importation of timber, coal, and limestone."

These little stones were built into a path. They looked so cool when the sun shines.
