Day 98 of my project 365. The Gisholt Machine Company, Madison Wisconsin: Besides being a very early manufacturer of machine shop equipment including turret lathes, they also built the first gas engines for the Fuller & Johnson Mfg. Co.
Founded in 1840 as Fuller & Williams, this firm bought the Madison Plow Works in 1880 and incorporated as the Fuller & Johnson Co. in 1882. The first gas engines were built in 1900-1903, by the Gisholt Machine Co. which was also owned by John A. Johnson.

I forgot to wear purple today, which I regretted, but I edited this to look purple, that kind of counts doesn't it?

Der Mondaufgang einen Tag nach Vollmond im März hinter der Burgruine Weibertreu. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurden noch 98,4% des Mondes angeleuchtet.
Leider war es direkt über dem Horizont bewölkter als ich erwartet hatte. Doch ich finde genau dies macht dieses Bild aus, da es diesem eine mystische Stimmung verleiht und die Strukturen des Mondes trotzdem sichtbar waren.

I love seeing the horses and cows grazing as we travel down the highways. This was taken in Wyoming on our return trip from South Dakota.
