Today we declared summer open. It won’t last.
(we have a lot of maintenance to do. but hey, the pool is ready)
I'm on a roll! :p
Anyway, had another Arisaka from my GI Brick order and decided to make a Gewehr 98 out of it since it was pretty similar to the Japanese rifle. Not sure if anyone has used a Arisaka for a WWI Gewehr before so I may be the first! ;-)
Hope you guys like it!

The Full moon is on Friday, and it will be called a Beaver Moon.
Also on Friday there is the longest Lunar Eclipse of the century.
It will fall between 06:02 and last for six hours, but sunrise on Friday will hide the peak which will be at 09:02
How long you will be able to observe the phenomenon depends on where you are in the country, with people living further north getting a longer and clearer spectacle, particularly in the north-west of the UK, along the coast.

A 1956 Oldsmobile Rocket 98, top of the line model for the Oldsmobile's, the other model was the Rocket 88. The 98's were the more luxurious and also more expensive. The big news behind the Rocket for 1956 was the availability of the Jetaway Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission. The Ninety-Eight series Oldsmobiles rode on a 126-inch wheelbase, while 88s used a 122-inch wheelbase. The top-of-the-line Ninety-Eights also used slightly different body side moldings. This 4 door hardtop sedan is in relatively good condition, the carport not quite as good. Photographed in Victoria BC Canada.
This car was good on the restrictor plate tracks in 1997 and he got a Daytona win shortly after this race for Yarborough.
Darkroom print.
A lot of dodge and burn and masking, split contrasting, to get a print from a flat negative. Would do a little more but too many disasters for one night.
