Anfänglich waren die neuen Triebwagen der Gattung Pesa Link die Sorgenkinder des BW Kempten. Der Start des Einsatzes im Allgäu verlief recht holprig und häufige Zugausfälle waren an der Tagesordnung. Die markant gestylten Fahrzeuge haben bereits Spitznamen erhalten. Die respektvolle Version ist "Hai", die despektierliche "Klodeckel". Am 17. Oktober 2021 konnte ich bei Görwangs den RE 57586 auf der Fahrt nach Kempten ablichten. Gebildet war der Zug aus dem 633 037 und einem weiteren Fahrzeug des Typs.
Initially, the new Pesa Link railcars were the problem children of Kempten BW. The start of service in the Allgäu region was quite bumpy and frequent train cancellations were the order of the day. The strikingly styled vehicles have already been given nicknames. The respectful version is "shark", the disrespectful one "toilet seat". On 17 October 2021, I was able to photograph RE 57586 near Görwangs on its way to Kempten. The train was made up of the 633 037 and another vehicle of the type.

Mein Abschiedsbild vom lokbespannten Regionalverkehr im Allgäu entstand am 31. Oktober 2021 am Ruderatshofener Weiher. Mit vereinten Kräften beförderten die führende 218 415 und die schiebende 218 411 den RE 57588 zum Zielbahnhof Kempten. Die Loks der Baureihe 218 werden im dortigen BW nun nur noch für die beiden IC Zugpaare und Sonderleistungen vorgehalten. Triebwagen der Baureihen 612 und 633 haben im Nahverkehr die Nachfolge angetreten.
My farewell picture of locomotive hauled regional traffic in the Allgäu was taken on 31 October 2021 near Ruderatshofener. With combined forces, the leading 218 415 and the pushing 218 411 carried the RE 57588 to its destination Kempten. The class 218 locomotives are now only kept at the local depot for the two IC train pairs and special services. Railcars of the 612 and 633 series have taken over in local traffic.
13.08.2022 - BR233-970 ze składem próżnych węglarek jako skład pociągu towarowego relacji Chruściel - Gdańsk Port Północny oczekuje odjazdu ze stacji początkowej.
Pociąg pierwotnie miał odjechać jeszcze tego samego dnia, jednak ze względu na brak miejsca na stacji końcowej jego odjazd przeniesiono na kolejny dzień.
BR233-970 ze składem pociągu TNS 584004 relacji Chruściel - Ujście Noteckie mija wieś Pinczyn, pokonując szlak Starogard Gdański - Zblewo w kierunku Chojnic.

Si, es miercoles, pero por problemas técnicos no pude subirla ayer. En este segundo "martes locos de Flickr" vemos un habitual que hubo en su día a Córdoba desde Valencia FSL. 269-970 "Lenin Sipirra" de Raxell Rail con el Teco de Córdoba, lleno, apurando los últimos rayos de sol.

Hay veces que las ocasiones no hay que dejarlas escapar; y considere que esta, era el ejemplo perfecto.
Echando un vistazo a las paginas habituales del tiempo en Europa, vi que la zona del Allgäu iba a tener un respiro de las nubes e iba a lucir el sol durante apenas 2 días y medio. Lo que pasaba era que el esperado sol empezaba a lucir al día siguiente de mirarlo... Asi que sin pensarlo cogí el coche y puse rumbo al país bávaro, previo paso por Francia Suiza y Austria (estos navegadores te hacen dar unas vueltas...) Y ahí estaba! Desde la madrugada del dia 1 hasta el 3 pude disfrutar del espectáculo de una de las lineas mas míticas y con mas historia de Europa. El Allgäu Bahn.
En la foto el IC 2084 (Nebelhorn) uniendo Oberstdorf con Hamburg-Altona por la KBS 970; este, con una de las ya escasas 218. La 218.824.
