CE52 UWU is now at Connexions Buses and today was on 960/1/2/4 duties. Possibly one of its first day out at connexions buses. Here it is on the 13:55 960.
Asked a lovely old gentleman if I could take a pic of his car, half an hour later we were still chatting Volvos.

A bit of a Nivekoldgold-esque shot here! I nearly didn't bother with a photo after I first glimpsed it, but then I noticed it looked a bit out-of-use so thought it was worth a cheeky shot through the hedge. Sure enough, DVLA says it's on SORN whci seems a shame for something so handy.

In 1990 the 960 was introduced as an updated version of the 760 that started life in 1982. In 1996 the 960 was renamed S90. and in 1998 production of this last Volvo rear wheel driven car ended.
Another E400 route with an Omnidekka on was the 1. Gotham spare 960 covers for an unavailable Enviro 400 bodied Scania on a 1 on a short trip to East Leake. Compared to the other workings I saw today this was fairly mundane!
