I started building this model quite soon after finishing my ARC-170. Given the simplicity of the design, thought it would be a pretty easy build. I was very wrong. The ship we see in the Clone Wars has an impossibly thin and pointy nose which proved a real challenge to recreate in bricks. The cone structure behind the cockpit also took a few months to perfect.
I think the months of design and revision paid off as I was left with a really solid model that is pretty accurate to the ship seen in the Clone Wars.
You can see more angles over at Brick Vault, where you can also support my models by buying instructions for this ship.

The Look:
Description Section:
For this glam look, I'm showcasing a blend of elegance and drama with the Kae bun by Made in Tokyo, a chic and sophisticated hairstyle that perfectly complements the regal vibe of the outfit. The Candice outfit from Dernier, featuring a sculpted gold corset and a sleek white skirt, exudes high fashion, while the detailed corset adds an extra touch of luxurious allure, hugging my figure perfectly. The Crystal Fringe Earrings and VIVI Bold earrings by Arnaud add a shimmering contrast, giving the look a bold and dazzling element with the long fringe that moves with every turn. Finally, the Siren Clutch by Movement brings the finishing touch, a beautiful shell-inspired design, complementing the overall sophisticated and elegant style of the ensemble. This is a look for when I want to feel like royalty with a contemporary, modern edge. Perfect for any extravagant event or night out where I want to turn heads!

Just a wee bit of weather between Poncha Springs and Buena Vista, Colorado, this past Friday, (May 17th) afternoon while on my way home from New Mexico. At this phase of my road trip I was just 95 miles from home.

A lovely walk this morning from Hartington, through Wolfscote Dale to Biggin Dale.
I spotted this tree towards the end of the loop and who doesn't like a lone tree under brooding skies.
Hartington is the most beautiful village I've been to in The Peak District and would be a dream place to call home one day.

This is where I wish I was right now. In a happy place.
I had no time to shoot today. Right after work I went over to a women's homeless shelter to collect interviews for my paper. The director of the shelter was very suspicious of me and my motives at first. I spent ten minutes convincing her I'm an innocent journalism student trying to complete a class assignment and the paper would never be published. She was much friendlier after I showed her my driver's license...I spent the rest of the night scrambling to put it all together.
This is the original shot I wanted to use from yesterday, but I felt like I had to upload the other one since I put so much time and effort into editing it. (Not to mention it almost crashed my computer several times). This is my second attempt at stitching...getting better!
Inspired by the lovely and talented Beth. :)
