Diese Lok gehört zur so genannten Tierklasse die für die HBE (Halberstadt-Blankenburger Eisenbahn) gebaut wurde um den Betrieb ohne Zahnstangenantrieb zu ermöglichen. Aus der Tierklasse wurde die preußische Tenderlok T20 entwickelt welche dann als BR95 bei der Deutschen Reichsbahn eingegliedert wurde. Nach Übernahme durch die DR wurden auch die Lokomotiven der Tierklasse als BR95 eingeordnet. Die 95 6676 mit dem Namen "MAMMUT" ist die einzige erhaltene Lok der Tierklasse und gehört zum nicht betriebsfähigem Bestand des Verkehrsmuseum Dresden und ist in Rübeland wo sie früher im Einsatz war beheimatet.

From the class of animals the Prussian T20 tank engine was developed which was then integrates as BR95 at Deutsche Reichsbahn. After takeover by the DR also the locomotives of animal class were classified as BR95. The 95 6676 with the name "Mammoth" is the only remaining locomotive of the animal class and is part of the non-existence of good working Dresden Transport Museum and is in Rübeland where she was formerly in use located.

I've learnt a lot about Prejudice and it's partner from the wrong side of the track, Misery, this weekend. It's not been a pleasant feeling and I will not bore you with the sordid details. Needless to say it hasn't been the best weekend I've ever had.
Why is it that the people we love and respect the most manage to cause the most pain? Ironically this is only because they only want what's best for us based on their experiences, past mistakes and not so pleasant run-ins with our friend Prejudice.
For the last few months I have known so much fun, laughter, playfulness and that warm fuzzy feeling that to have it taken away feels like I'm only half alive. What's the point of living then?
Sorry I don't mean to be so melodramatic. I've always believed that everything happens for a reason and I'm going to carry on thinking like that to get me through this rough patch. Everything will work out in the end and whatever the outcome, you and I will be stronger.

I have spent the day faffing about housing the electronics for my new toy. It does the trick but I am not sure it'll stay that way. We shall see and if it does break it should be an easy enough bodge.
After I had finished I converted some more of my shots into Bitmaps to ping on an sd card for the dlw.
I asked Riley to sit on the kitchen top, I lit him with a large gridded softbox, camera left on full power. Also 1 x Yongnuo 560iv from camera right with orange gel. I fired the shutter from outside which in turn fired the flashes on Riley. Finally I walked from right to left triggering the dlw just out of frame.
With a BRIGHTIN STAR 50mm f0.95. On a most enjoyable walk with Leon Van Kemenade, along a central London canal.
