Locomotive 943 was built by the Mitsubishi Company of Japan in 1950 and was installed at the park after retirement in 1987 to signifify the friendly relations between Thailand and Japan. It also reminds visitors that the park was once an active railway yard.

In recent years, the number of rapeseed crops in Poland has increased, what can see easily. SOO train 943, unusual that it has a block of CN cars, with SD40-2 765 and F7 2228-A is westbound, actually northbound at Harris Rd. in Grayslake IL. in October 1978.
Racing west into a late afternoon sun in September 1983 is train 943. Power is 704, 4424 and 2552, it was really odd to see 943 without at least one SD40/40-2 in the consist by late 83. Photo shot at Blenker WI and he was making good enough time that I didn't get another even though I gave chase.
