A gorgeous classic Porsche 911 caught my eye in the Smithfield backstreets. If that registration is authentic, the car was first registered in Bury, Lancashire in 1970/71.
3x Nikon SB25 through large softbox, from top, back left and back right. triggered with my right thumb.
Purpose of this photo was to bring out the nice silhouette. Even so it is kind of old (30 years), it did not loose any of its timeless beauty.
I own this car since 27 years (minimum).
Night in Belgrade bring this very nice 911 carrera S.

Here is what the 911 memorial in NYC looks like. There are two of these, one for the North and one for the South tower. Names of the fallen are inscribed on the outside granite surrounding the pools. Waterfalls into the pool below that again falls into what appears to be a bottomless pit. It is very ominous to be there. I like the memorial a great deal. It is a fitting tribute to all of the innocent victims of terror.

"One of the rarest of the 993-generation 911s, only 243 911 GT2s were built over three years, of which approximately 161 were completed to road-going specification. When Porsche introduced the new 993 variant of the 911 for 1995, it was to be the last of the great air-cooled 911s, and the GT2 sat firmly atop the 993 family tree. At the time, there was no more exciting 911 to own, and it was certainly an exciting day for this car’s first owner in 1995 when it was delivered, as it presented a chance to own a brand new Porsche with true roots in motorsport."

Volumes have been written about the enigmatic quality of the 911. RWB has put its own spin on the 911 world, and while it may land all across the spectrum of taste, when it’s done well it elevates everything raw and truthful about the legendary 911 platform.
This example is RWB Gotham No. 1. Akira has been tight lipped about this order, but he did acknowledge that this is the first RWB delivery to a very, very wealthy Gotham client and that the order was built around a costumer-supplied early 80’s Targa.
Tastefully stanced and accented with auxiliary hood-mounted lamps for added night time visibility, this beast is prepped for some serious action.
Graphic inserts were employed for the auxiliary lamps and a custom plate helps round out the vibe of this monster hiding in plain sight.
I hope you enjoy!
