Schon länger trägt die 182 911 nicht mehr das Design der MWB sondern schon seit einigen Jahren das der EVB. Seit dem sie diesen Design trägt konnte ich die meiner Meinung nach sehr gelungene Lok nicht fotografieren. Am heutigen Donnerstag des 06.07 sollte sich dies ändern. Nach dem ich von einem Bekannten die Meldung bekam, dass in Bebra ein EVB Zug nach Platting wäre, stellte ich mich schon auf mein 1000. Bild einer EVB 159 ein. Als jedoch 182 911 mit ihrem Containerzug um die Ecke kam war die Freude vergleichsweise groß an der Strecke. Zu dem man den Taurus immer weniger auf deutschen Strecken zu sehen bekommt.
Zu sehen ist 182 911 der EVB mit ihrem Containerzug nach Plattling auf Höhe des haunischen Örtchens Oberhaun.

Der Porsche 911 GT3 der Generation 991.2., ist ein toller Wagen und erkennbar am feststehenden Heckflügel. Mein Wagen ist einer der ersten nach der Modellpflege und verfügt über einen 4,0-Liter-Saugmotor mit 500 PS. Neulich habe ich mir in Paris im Halteverbot ein Ticket eingefangen, als ich schnell einige Burger und Chicken McNuggets organisieren wollte ... 👎😎
The Porsche 911 GT3 of the 991.2 generation is a fantastic car easily recognizable by its fixed rear wing. My car is one of the first after the facelift and has a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 500 hp. I recently got a ticket for parking illegally in Paris while quickly grabbing some burgers and Chicken McNuggets... 👎😎

Another frame here of something something different on the generally homogeneously powered ex Boston and Albany line. And to add to the interest, this train itself is relatively uncommon as a short haul peak season premium intermodal from North Bergen, NJ to Worcester. The train symboled I014 comes up the River Line then takes a right hand turn at CP SK to head toward the Castleton Bridge and New England.
For those reasons I figured it was worth a little detour west after work to try for a couple shots. This would have been spectacular with the low morning sun, and in fact I got a tease about five minutes before train time when the scene lit up brilliantly with a dark storm lit background. Alas the train was five minutes too late for sun, and I had to settle for this flat light. But at least that red really pops on a cloudy day.
Anyway, here is CSXT first responders unit 911 leading past the old stone milepost on modern day CSXT's Boston Sub denoting 83 miles from South Station. Alas my favorite 'tree at 83' is no more, though I'm sure it would have appreciated the passage of this colorful oddity

Second year for us heading to Jersey City, NJ to view the lights of the 911 Memorial in downtown Manhattan. Going to try to make it a yearly tradition.
I am not the most avid car photographer, but here I found that color of the car and scenery just fit perfectly together, so I couldn't resist.
