An 8x8 vignette (with minimal overhang) for the Isles of Aura group. It's been so long since I've built something for this, or anything medieval in general!! I've really been focusing on trying to get better with other genres to become a well-rounded builder.
This was very fun to put together. I was experimenting with the rounded tile roof yesterday and decided to see what I could do on an 8x8 base with the technique. Turned out quite nicely.
I also would like to encourage any other members of the Isles of Aura group (if you're at all interested) to build an 8x8 scene depicting daily life for the people of Aura! It's not meant to be competitive, just something fun to do. :)
Hope you all enjoy!

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's let LEGO be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.

There's been a tsunami of production art from the developers of TLOU2 on Artstation lately, which has been amazing. The lush, green, verdant world of the game is eerily beautiful (especially when the artwork doesn't feature any murderous NPCs).
It's a game I'd normally watch a walkthrough of but goddamn, the violence is just too much for me. The characters are really interesting and the environment is beautiful but phew, nope, can't handle that. I'm happy enough with the art :-)
VL "Naga" (Armored Modular Vehicle) is an 8×8 multi-role military vehicle produced by the Esthian defence industry company VL.
In this picture, we can see the crew access hatch behind. This variant can carry 6 fully armed soldiers on the rear. I also added some details on the sides of the vehicle.
The Naga features a 50mm auto-cannon, two anti-tank missiles on the sides of the turret and a short range anti-aircraft missile launcher.

The future is now! Except it was yesterday. And it didn't happen. Welcome to the museum of the amazing science fiction of the 50's, the crazy predictions for the future, flying cars and cheesy robots. May contain traces of radiation, do not stay in for prolonged periods of time.
VL "Naga" (Armored Modular Vehicle) is an 8×8 multi-role military vehicle produced by the Esthian defence industry company VL.
Last year I built a Heavily Armored 8x8 Tank Destroyer, the Alicanto, but that vehicle couldn´t be developed for other uses, like Armored Personnel Carrier, Mortar Carrier, ambulance, etc...
Then, I asked a great friend of mine, Nuno Taborda if I could study how he made his 8x8 vehicle and use it as a base for a new IFV for the Esthian Army. And this is the result, the Naga!
The vehicle features a 50mm auto-cannon, two anti-tank missiles on the sides of the turret and a short range anti-aircraft missile launcher.

A preview of a set I am currently working on. It is similar to the M.P.M.T series, in that it will have numerous different Blocks, attachments, and chassis types, which will (hopefully) include variants such as:
Fuel Tanker
Medical Facility
Mirage Tower - (Top Secret)
Cruise Missile Launcher
Crane
Recovery
Self-Loading Variants
Kitchen
Radar - Air and Ground
Communications Array
Survival Cabin
Research Lab
Shipping Container
Maintenance and Repair Facility
Command Center
Generator
Water Tank
Armoury
Plus several more. As well as more chassis and trailer types, including 8x8 and 6x6 trailers, and a 10x10 Ox chassis.
Shown here is the "Omurhz" anti-aircraft Block, which will be grouped with a command center, a radar, a communications array, and a power generator.
Note that this is still a WIP, so any future models may differ slightly from the model shown here.
8x8 canvas I am attempting to do for artfest gallery. I just can't allow myself to cut those sweet little threads from the sides of the canvas. I love the way hand down.
