Their presentation and start of service took place in February 2024, after four months of preparations and paperwork fulfilment

852 is one of only two DAF DB250 ALX400s in the Tiger fleet at present, the other being recent transfer from Arriva 7477 W404VGJ. Usually surround by dennis trident ALXs 852 sticks out like a sore thumb, especially with it's sorry looking front bumper and unusually elevated front suspension that it has adopted over the years. I recall the lads on Top Gear once referring to a Ford Scorpio as looking "goppy", which seems quite fitting here. Basking in some September morning sun, 852 waits to do a short trip from Rye Lane to Halifax town centre on the 36. Sorry, the 511. No, wait...
