Making its way down the Marquette Subdivision for a handoff with Union Pacific at Clinton, IA; CPKC train 852 closes in on Brownsville, MN. Once handed off at Clinton, the empty coal train will continue to the Powder River Basin for another load of coal for the Columbia Power Plant just south of Portage, WI.
In the heart of Stockbridge here is Volvo B9TL / Wright Gemini number 852 (SN57 DFD) drops off and picks up passengers outside Hector's bar / restaurant - a popular haunt of many local students and young business people. There are several bars within 500 yards of here that are all excellent with fine ales and wine on offer. Stockbridge people like their bars!

Left hat is from Tofino, Vancouver Island, mittens are from Newfoundland, polar bear hat is from Churchill - northern Canada.
West to East to North - Canada. Handmade by the locals, some being indigenous.
Been very busy this week, lots of winter snow shovelling, storms and lots of lake effect snow - hence the winter image. Lots of appointments.
This is for my 52 weeks, at the last minute, as no time this week for photos. Hopefully next week will be less snow and less snow removal and a quieter week.

It's a bit of a low-quality shot as I zoomed in far, but if there's a driver training bus involved it kind of makes up for it as I still require pictures of a few of them - never mind good quality shots, just any shots at all!
852 - better known as 508 - swings round towards the front of Trent Bridge garage, only a minute or-so after 853 did the same thing and 856 had come out of the garage and then shot off out of the way towards the back.

Info (SP): Tras haber vuelto a quedar satisfechos con el resultado de los Intercity I, Salcai decidio incluir mas vehiculos en su flota cuando la segunda generación fue lanzada al mercado. En total fueron 15 los Intercity II que se compraron bajo Mercedes Benz. La gran mayoria de estas unidades fueron destinadas a rutas de media distancia como la 210, la 301, la 33 o la 58 y permanecieron en servicio hasta que los primeros fueron dados de baja en 2012 y el ultimo fuese retirado en 2015.
Info (EN): After being satisfied with the results the Intercity I gave, Salcai decided to include more vehicles in its fleet once the second generation was launched into market. 15 Intercity II were powered by Mercedes Benz.
