The house was for a time owned by Dr. S. Sannella, who is said to have been an orthopedic doctor with a home-based practice. One of the nicer small rooms in the house was his office.

In 2007 the Bloomsbury Conservation Area Advisory Committee formed a sub-group to carry out a special project to survey front doors in the Bloomsbury Conservation Area.
Bloomsbury is justly famous for its Georgian terraces and their front doors with decorative fanlights above, and they are a vital part of the heritage of Bloomsbury. We considered it important that they are recorded and safeguarded.
