En este día se conmemora la lucha de la mujer por su participación, en pie de igualdad con el hombre, en la sociedad y en su desarrollo íntegro como persona. Este es mi homenaje a las mujeres que iniciaron este movimiento y a cuantas siguen luchando porque se hagan realidad esos sueños e ilusiones y la Justicia proteja a tanta víctima de malos tratos y de las desigualdades ante los hombres.
A todas las Mujeres, porque día a día desde cualquier ámbito luchan por un mejor mañana!

Day 8; January 8, 2010
Today was a really looonnnggg day. I had to drive up to Germany on an errand that should have taken 5 or 6 hours round trip and ended up taking 10 because of the traffic and constant snow/sleet/rain. Pooey!
Todays shot was just something I came up with on the drive home. I prefer to shoot outside when I can but the last few days have forced me to stay in because of the weather. Anyway, I often play "Alchemy" on my iPhone and I was thinking about the colors and also fusing it with the pseudo-science. This shot was the execution of that train of thought.
It was a fun, playful shoot that would have had me in the doghouse had my wife seen how I pulled stuff from all over the house to create it. Good thing she went right to bed right after we got home tonight. =D

On the 20th February we decided to return to the place we first met 20 years ago. Tucked away at the back of the Birmingham ICC, the backroom snug where we'd enjoyed a quiet pint or two has long gone, but there was a choice of ales at the bar.
