On a scorcher of a Sunday afternoon, Montauk to Jamaica train 8709 roars around the curve at Quogue. 10 cars in tow, the 502 glistens in late-afternoon light. 76 miles from the Big Apple.

(+ 1) this was fun. i got nettle stings and mud scuffs because i took my shoes off. there were so many dog walkers.
