Sheffield Corporation Tramways 74 outside the depot at Crich Tramway Museum, 9th April 2023. 74 was built in 1900 by the Electric Railway and Carriage Company, Preston as an open top tram. In 1909 a small canopy was added and in 1922 it was sold to Gateshead and rebuilt as an enclosed double deck vehicle. It was withdrawn in 1951 and the lower body converted into a garden shed. Between 1990 and 1995 the lower body was amalgamated with the surviving top half of Sheffield tram 218 (built in 1904) and the truck from Leeds tram 110 and the resulting vehicle entered service at Crich as Sheffield 74 in 1995.

I'm really honest with you.
I wanted to try this.
When the weather is bad you try other things, like this.
This photo was taken from my laptop. So a screen recording. What did I do in this photo in Photoshop. Background darkened and with a high-pass filter only the bird was sharpened by 3/5 pix..
And of course the crop was improved.
With this as a result.
Together with Lightroom and Photoshop, this is what it has become. I wanted to try that too.
I don't know the name or species of bird.
There will be 3 more tries.

I've not done any lens swapping for a while. It's always squeaky bum time with a new camera but tonight I plucked up the courage and got my swap on.
Helios 44-2 on the macro rings for my macro eye. Lens cap on and swapped to the Nikon 20mm for the blade/camera rotation.

Well, at least it's a concept. Right?
This photo has been in my head for months now. I've written it down in every notebook, played with the clothes, the line, the places. And today I decided to use that idea, because really, what good is it doing me, sitting in a notebook?
What if we could shed our bodies along with our clothes, hang them up to dry? What if we could put it on the washer along with everything else, just shed it for a few days and let it air out? Wouldn't it be nice? Wouldn't it be a good way to get your energy back, to let go of everything that fills us up and makes us desperate? I think it would be.

Tonight I went to say goodbye to a very verrrrry wonderful and long time friend of mine. It was sad.. I liked that we FINALLY lived in the same town after living very far apart for our whole lives previously. We had finally started getting together regularly for tea and gossip and I have come to value and appreciate our time together so much. She gave me a looovely goodbye gift!!! It is a beautiful (and seriously, i mean beautiful) Thermos for TEA!! yay!!! Sentimental, and lovely! I think I will use it for one of my photos for sure ;)
I didn't take this one tonight, though we did play around and take some goofy photos which I will go through later and see if any are actually good hahaha, But I got home late and it for some reason takes forever to upload photos from my camera onto our comp.
Isn't she gorgeous though? I love her as a model and I will miss her greatly :)
Why is it that you only hurt two days after using new muscles?
I went indoor climbing on Friday and my shoulders and back only started to hurt this morning. I am hoping it gets better by tomorrow's climb...
