O'Hare airport: I was at the airport as I had family coming in. This is in the International terminal of O'hare. I like the orange color in this light fixture - same drill as the previous day - no camera with me and had to take this using my iPhone.

I really like the colour of my zippo and I've been trying to take a shot of it for a while. Of todays the only one I like ended up showing no colour. :)

This is my new backyard...we finally moved. Yay! My first day in the house I had a staring contest with nearly a dozen deer, and saw a road runner and a rabbit in our front yard. It was exciting! We love it here! The only thing that has me freaked out? Scorpions and tarantulas. It is going to take me awhile to want to lie on the ground to take a picture here like I did back in my old neighborhood!
I am way behind in my 365. I have images for all the days that I wasn't able to post (not that they are worth posting) and will get around to it eventually. Not having the time to give to my 365 project, nor having a computer to process on turned out to be depressing.
Around the end of tenth grade a new kid moved to my school. He was the cool skater type and eventually our circles joined up and my friend group expanded exponentially. He was from Cloverdale and so I met a bunch of people from the area. There was a popular place to hangout referred to as Ampa and a bunch of my friends and I would head out there almost every weekend. That’s where I met Tamara.
When I first met the clovey kids I was overwhelmed with how cool I thought all their styles were. No offence to my friends at the time, but we were all pretty normal when it came to our style. The kids I met at Ampa wore everything I would see in the animes I watched and had the hair to match, Tamara especially on the hair front. It was my first real experience with anything grunge. I ate it up. I got to learn these people over the next couple years and made some really great memories with some really cool people.
Time passed and I saw a lot of them a lot less. Tamara was one of the few that I would see more often. I didn’t really get to know her too well and at some point decided to avoid her because I was trying to cut down on the number of friends I had. It wasn’t anything personal; I was just being a reclusive dolt. As time passed I saw her less and less, but recently I’ve been talking to her more and more.
Tamara is, without a doubt, one of the more kind people I’ve had the chance to get to know. The way she regards others, in how others have regarded her, in my own personal experiences. We’ve been trying to hang out for quite a while now and so I’m glad we finally had the chance. We’ve both been really busy with work and other social commitments though I hope we’ll have the chance to see each other again soon. Just being around her was very uplifting for my mood. Thanks Tamara!
