Stranger #74 – Adrian – the story behind this picture slightly differs from the usual stuff. Meet Adrian Zandberg – cofounder and one of the leaders of the new Polish left-wing political party – Razem (“Together”). He is definitely the best known and the most recognizable person in this group. For those of you not familiar with the Polish political scene, Razem has a social-democratic programme, which can be compared to what Bernie Sanders is currently doing in USA. The group consists of regular people, who - as to my knowledge - have no political background whatsoever so there are no corrupted politicians backing them up. But let’s get back to business – the moment I knew he was coming to Wrocław, Poland I decided to try and take this portrait. It was definitely a less spontaneous encounter than the usual ones, because I contacted him the day before to introduce myself and ask to take a photo of him. When I approached him the next day during a women’s rights manifestation held in my city, it turned out that he barely got a glimpse of my message. Despite that, he agreed - with no hesitation at all - to pose later on. Well, about one and a half hour later I was able to catch up with him at a very fortunate moment when he could spare a few minutes for me. As it was a cloudy and rainy day the light was excellent pretty much everywhere. I decided that the best place to take pictures would be in the middle of a side street nearby. He seemed slightly concerned but there was virtually no traffic at the time and we weren’t interrupted by any car ;) I took a few pictures, briefly asked him a thing or two and we parted our ways because Adrian had an important meeting scheduled and a train to catch. He seems to be a really friendly guy, especially considering the fact that he’s a politician and you don’t get many like him at any political scene :) It was a very nice encounter and I hope you like the result.

Nothing I am
Nothing I dream
Nothing is new
Nothing I think or believe in or say
Nothing is true
It used to be so easy
I never even tried
It used to be so easy...
But the last day of summer never felt so cold
The last day of summer never felt so old
Never felt so...
All that I have
All that I hold
All that is wrong
All that I feel for or trust in or love
All that is gone
It used to be so easy...
Traded in her beloved cello for a larger one, watched Charlotte's Web, and buried her cat all in one day. She's doing alright but I'm a little depressed.
The 1974 VW was ratted out nicely. This vehicle was seen at the 2021 Olathe Police car show held at Olathe South though not an entry, just parked in the parking lot.
Holy hangover, Batman.
This weekend has been so rough on us. But I've loved every second.
We spent a little time in Cherry Creek today, walked around a bit and went to a really cute vegan/veg restaurant called True Food Kitchen. The food was subpar, but the atmosphere was amazing. There were even succulents on every table! Totally perfect.
Denver is seriously everything I want in my life. Seeing the mountains every day is seriously the best thing. I can't wait to move here.
One year to go.
A shot of my teenage princess, master of all she surveys. Watching Netflix on her iPad while chatting with 5 friends on Kik, in a world all her own. Sometimes it seams like her head's in the clouds and that you're just a visitor in her world.
Friday 20th December 2013.
I waited until midnight to take this one. I spotted the ice on the top of the cars earlier when picking my sister up from her boyfriends with my Mom. We had to de-ice the car after an hour parked outside! I can't believe how beautiful the patterns are over the vehicles. I have never seen anything like it.
I have never done a picture for the day this early before. Tomorrow (later on today) we are Gloucester bound to see Danny's family. Then on to Windsor.
