I threw this bowl and bent the top out. After it was leather hard I trimmed it and cut holes along the lip. I plan to glaze it and then use it for jewelry. The holes are for hanging pairs of earrings. I’m having so much fun playing with clay.
^ this was a total "happy accident" I put my wireless flash at the bottom of the tree and then zoomed in and out while the photo was going I also didnt have a tripod and it was about a 5 second exposure...

MEDITERRANEAN SEA (May 8, 2019) The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (TOE-8) and the Àlvaro de Bazàn-class frigate ESPS Méndez Núñez (F 104). Abraham Lincoln is deployed as part of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group (ABECSG) in support of maritime security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th, U.S. 6th and U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation. With Abraham Lincoln as the flagship, deployed strike group assets include staffs, ships and aircraft of Carrier Strike Group 12 (CSG 12), Destroyer Squadron 2 (DESRON 2), USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) and Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW 7); as well as Méndez Núñez.
