Note, 711 was new to Blackpool Corporation as an open top tram with O54/40CD seating and the fleet number 248. It was rebuilt with a roof in 1941-42 with the seating being altered to H44/40CD. The seating was further altered to H54/40CD at some time before it was renumbered 711 in early 1968. Blackpool Corporation became Blackpool Borough Council on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. Blackpool Borough Council Transport’s operations passed to Blackpool Transport Services Limited on 26th October 1986 due to bus deregulation

BNSF 711 was the DPU on an eastbound freight at Oregon, IL, as several railfans look on as part of the NRHS chapter meeting festivities on 8-26-17.

711, a VanHool AG300T articulated trolleybus, approaches Piazza Luigi Di Savoia with a 91 Circolare Sinistra (Circular Outer Left) service. It operates in an anti-clockwise direction Piazzale Lotto - Viale Isonzo - Piazzale Lotto.
