The Amtrak qualification train takes the Hudson Line south to Grand Central. The purpose of this train is to qualify Amtrak trains into Grand Central Terminal, in case something were to happen to the Empire Corridor connection into Penn Station. The train is seen passing through Spuyten Duyvil with P42DC #87 and P32AC-DM #710.
