Die Felsenschlucht nördlich des kleinen Ortes Niševac gehört sicherlich zu den bekanntesten Motiven Serbiens. Doch auch auf der anderen Seite des Dorfes lässt sich die schöne Berglandschaft gut im Bild festhalten. 710 010 konnten wir hier am 12.03.2023 vom Hochstativ aus ablichten, als er unter der Zugnummer Re 2743 von Zajecar nach Niš fuhr.

Auf den Dieselstrecken rund um Zaječar sind zumindest teilweise noch immer die schwedischen Y1 Triebwagen im Einsatz anzutreffen, seit einigen Jahren im attraktiven Landesdesign. 710 009 war am 16.03.2026 als Re 2761 von Majdanpek nach Zaječar unterwegs und wurde im Bahnhof Rgotina bildlich festgehalten. Der Gesamtverkehr auf dieser Strecke im Personenverkehr besteht aus nur zwei Zugpaaren.
On the diesel lines around Zaječar, some Swedish Y1 multiple units are still in service, sporting the attractive Serbian national colors for the past few years. Unit 710 009 was operating as Re 2761 from Majdanpek to Zaječar on March 16, 2026, and was photographed at Rgotina station. Passenger service on this line consists of only two train pairs.
710 takes the siding at Yukon on the Dry Fork. With no pusher available, they will sit in the siding until their ride arrives. The N&W CPL signals here have been deactivated for quite some time but still sit with the heads turned.
