The first night of our honeymoon was spent in Heidelberg, Germany, a touristy town south of Frankfurt. Having traveled about 20hrs, we made it an early night, and after waking up at 1:30am, I was bored by 5am so decided to grab my camera gear and went for a walk around the city. I found myself the other side of the Neckar River and finally as the sun rose through the clouds and mist, captured some sunrays behind the Church of the Holy Spirit in the middle of the city square. After my better-half awoke, we did a walking tour of the city and castle, took in some semi-authentic German food, and then headed for France.

I visited London a few weeks back for my girlfriends birthday and managed to sneak in a a few shots while i was there.
I was hoping to take some long exposures, but with zero cloud cover, i got up early hoping for a nice sunrise, alas this didnt happen either. Still i quite this one though. It was 6am, and just as i was setting up shop, these two gentlemen proceeded to light up a big spliff and sit in the middle of the picture. I thought it rude to ask if i could have a toke, so instead i just left them there to get deep and ponder life! :-)
Too early, but great for photos! No cars, no people, just bus. The Christmas lights are already up and here is Arriva Grays DW235 (LJ59AEE) working an early morning 370 service towards Romford Market (only the second of the day) seen on Saturday 24th November 2018.
Huttoft beach in Lincolnshire, a lovely dark sand beach with lots of shells, very peaceful especially at 6am
