Inbound tracks from the North Leominster Commuter MBTA station, to Boston.
I find the bokeh from my Nikkor 135 mm f2.8 ais, truly astonishing. It can create some very dreamy, painterly backgrounds.
When you have a little too much fun on your birthday....
Lux is 4! Hard to believe I met this little squish 4 years ago. I was in the OR with him as he was pulled from his mom. I ripped the sack off and rubbed him with towels until he came to (think 101 Dalmatians scene). This year, he has finally started to chill out, so I thought a lazy morning, party hat type of shot fit well. Still plenty of crazy pep left in his little body though. Hopefully I can keep up for the next 4 years. Happy birthday to my buddy, my shadow.

I quite often pass by these boats and give them a quick glance from the roadside to see how they're positioned, they aren't usually laid out in a way that grabs my attention but yesterday evening wasn't bad at all. It's rare to see the distant boats lined up in this way and if the larger boat had been in a mirrored position on the right side to catch the light, well, I would probably have done a handstand on the beach :D
