56059 in Railfreight Construction livery approaches Eastleigh with the 6O01, the 0440 Willesden to Quidhampton empty china clay tanks, running approximately an hour and 20 minutes late.
Quidhampton quarry, west of Salisbury, produced rail traffic in the form of china clay slurry until it's closure in 2009.
In 1995 Quidhampton was served by Transrail's 'Enterprise' wagonload service, running as a trip to Willesden before the run up Mossend and then either to PD Stirling at Mossend or on to Corpach near Fort William. The use of class 56s was regular at the time, with this being the only regular class 56 duty in South Central England.

anyhow Perth has had a bit of a tropical storm thing going on lately, so this is my first attempt a lightning, I learnt a lot about how to shoot it next time. thankfully (but photography wise unfortunately) there won't be another lightning storm before the weeks out so here you go. I will add that lightning is bad news in Perth this time of year as the earth is so dry it has caused a significant bushfire down south, its wild, unpredictable and uncontained. so far no human life lost but many of our animals are adversely affected.

I make myself laugh when I think of this one. These 6 trees have caught my attention for days. And I was thinking, "no Gary...enough of the trees already." But, I see these trees just as I see people. They are really all very different, but really, ....just the same. And to my 'new' photography and friends, its very early...but, I see this as you out there with me....I look forward to seeing what life you have captured.
