High Peak Scania L94UB/Wright Solar FN04HTT (698) seen at the summit of Long Hill on the 11:00 Glossop-Buxton 61.
Taking in several scenic climbs, this service should be operated by High Peak's two Centros. However, the three vehicles which retain debranded Trent "spare" livery - Excel 233 (now 682) and Solars 647/8 (now 697/8) - seem to deputise fairly regularly. This is one of the few instances where vehicles from the Trent half of the partnership perform work which originated with the Bowers portion. While the Excel probably doesn't have a long term future with the company, it will be interesting to see whether the two Solars receive Centrebus livery as they currently look rather tatty.
