The 1969 Camaro offered the hideaway headlight option. They were behind doors that unlike the 1968, did not resemble the rest of the grille.

I love nosing around old car garages and workshops like this, such great atmosphere, sights and smells etc...

Those of you who pay far too much more attention than I deserve may remember that I missed a post a few weeks ago. I had been working on an early Camaro build and at the 11th hour decided it wasn’t good enough.
Back to the drawing board then… The inspiration that got me back on track was a read-through of the official LEGO instructions for their Dodge Challenger - so many nice techniques, especially the rear pillars.
I set myself the challenge to build a Camaro 8-wide and to make it as strong as possible, whilst still as true to life as my previous work. With the exception of the roof and windscreen, this thing is bomb-proof and I really enjoyed using and adapting some of @lego ‘s techniques. It could easily be modified with a more solidly mounted studs-up windscreen, but I really do prefer the smoother transition of my solution.
The ZL1 was probably the ultimate Camaro, with a conservative 430hp (more like 500 in reality) as well as upgraded suspension and brakes. I love how understated the ZL1 looks on its body-coloured steel wheels with hubcaps, quite the q-car.
All designs and builds are my own, website link in bio. Follow me on Instagram and my website
This is possibly the best Mustang I have seen with my own eyes. It is a 1969 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1. It is left ahnd drive and it is spotless inside and out. TOUGH!!!

Genevieve and I took today and tomorrow off. This afternoon, we went for a walk in the woods near our house. It was really warm, around 0 celcius, and sunny. Genevieve managed to get some birds eating in her hand.
