Op de opnieuw zonnige en inmiddels ook behoorlijk warme 9 juni 2023 werd er opnieuw een kolentrein vastgelegd. Dit keer betrof het de fraaie trein van Rail Feeding met Touax wagens, getrokken door een van de fraaie RRF klazen. Nadat de trein eerder aan het begin van de avond reed is dat op dit moment niet het geval en rijdt de trein enkele uren vroeger. Vanwege de zonstand werd daarom na de fysio nog maar even de fiets gepakt voor een lange fietstocht naar de Betuweroute ter hoogte van het Lingebos, waar we trein 49788 in een heerlijk zonnetje aan de eenzame fotograaf zien passeren op weg richting Rotterdamse haven.

D&H 653 leads a train up the Jeff Connector at Jefferson Jct. near Lanesboro, PA on November 17, 1985. This train continued on towards Buffalo once it was on the Southern Tier Line, and I chased it until the light was gone around Chemung, NY. For all the time I spent catching Lanesboro Detours, I have very little to show of anything at this location, much to my shame. It would have been easy to photograph trains at a few locations while they made the moves to rearrange the power at Lanesboro. I spent most of the time at Starrucca Viaduct.

Tenslotte werd op deze zonnige maar zeer warme woensdag 12 augustus 2020 weer teruggekeerd naar Lewedorp, waar een zwarte class66, in de vorm van de 653-2 (LINEAS?) met de derde trein met gasketels voor Vopak stond te wachten op de passage van een tegentrein. De tegentrein is hier op de achtergrond nog zichtbaar als we de zwarte class66 met de aannemelijk lege ketelwagens zien vertrekken bij Lewedorp op weg naar Vopak. De trein zou direct na aankomst door deze loc bij Vopak worden geplaatst, in tegenstelling tot de eerder aangebrachte wagens van Captrain en DB-Cargo.

NSM SD40-3s (ex-UP SD40-2s) 653 and 654 are new on the property and seen working the job they were purchased for, the tailings train from Silver Bay to the disposal location called Milepost 7. This spot is now off limits as NSM put up a gate and security camera here a few years ago on the road into the disposal site.
