Rainy day, perfect for more studying! (I'll catch up with everyone next thursday, at the latest. I keep wanting to look at photos but then feeling guilty because I know I should be studying.)
Since it hardly ever rains here, you'll probably see a drop shot every time it does.
I desaturated this because the clover is one of those dark red ones, and I didn't really like the way it looked in color.
Macro Mondays: In the moment: I actually saw this shot while I was venturing outside to take out the recycling. Just this beautiful drop-covered scene on the ground. I think noticing beauty in things we see every day is an important way to "stay in the moment".

Oi, garotitas!
Há muito tempo estava namorando os esmaltes desta marca coreana. As cores são belíssimas, além de terem esmaltes flocados e holográficos de deixar qlq pessoa de queixo caído. Resolvi comprar alguns bonitinhos e o primeiro escolhido, depois de uma indecisão enorme, foi o 65.
A embalagem é a mais linda q já vi na vida! Para quem não conhece, o vidrinho tem o formato de uma silhueta feminina vestindo um corpete, não é um charme?!
O esmalte é uma delícia de passar, tem secagem supersônica, mas é um pouco difícil deixá-lo uniforme, pois ele “varre” a camada anterior qnd vc passa o pincel. Há a indicação de usar uma base específica, da mesma marca, mas como não comprei. Preferi testar a dica da Dani (não usar nenhuma base). O q realmente deu certo para não manchar, foi passar o pincel apenas uma vez em cada parte da unha. Assim evitou q a camada anterior fosse retirada.
Confesso q estou APAIXONADA por esse holo maravilhoso!

Meg has gone to a school friends for the weekend - and because the friend is a boarder Meg is now on a farm 4 hours west of Brisbane. And Anna works today - so that meant I had an entire day free to myself. I came up with the idea to ride the Darren Smith Memorial route - a route that runs the length of the Gold Coast named after a cyclist who died young when he was hit by a car. It's best not to think of how he died when you're riding the route incidentally. It was a fun ride - and might have been just a little more pleasant without the several hours of heavy rain. It turns out it wasn't really beach weather.
My Garmin shows the ride was 111km - which makes it the longest ride I've ever done in a day.
It was a brilliant way to spend a day - and I'm hoping I'll still think it's brilliant tomorrow when my legs have that day after feeling.
VIA 65 is comprised of VIA 919, one HEP baggage car and five LRC cars as it approaches Coteau Station at track speed; next to no VIA trains stop here.
Encore des patches sur les sas de la Station, signé par tout l’équipage de l’Expédition 65 cette fois-ci ! Avec 2 relocalisations (notre crew dragon et le Soyouz la semaine dernière) et quelques passages de vaisseaux cargo on a beaucoup apposés nos signatures. Il reste encore un mois mais on sent que l’Expédition 65 touche à sa fin. On attend de la visite aujourd'hui, et les prochains membres d’équipage au long cours seront là à la fin du mois... après 5 mois sans voir de nouvelles têtes, ça fait pas mal de changements ! Megan, Mark, Piotr, Shane, Aki, Oleg et moi sommes liés pour la vie, on a vécu une expérience exceptionnelle, accompli pas mal de de choses et on s’est même amusé au passage. Vive l’Expédition 65 !

More patches and hatches with the whole crew of Expedition 65. We did two spacecraft relocations (our SpaceX Crew Dragon and Soyuz last week), four spacewalks and some cargo spacecraft came and went too so we got to sign many patches. But then we also sign the Expedition patch. It feels somewhat like Expedition 65 is coming to an end, even if it still goes on for another month, but today and end of October we have new people arriving at the Station, marking the end of spending five months just the seven of us: Megan, Mark, Pyotr, Shane, Aki, Oleg. We are a tight-knit group, we got so much work done and had fun while doing it, Expedition 65 rocks!
