Soo Line re-built SD40B is seen at Bensenville yard on March 26th, 1988. I had gone up to take photos of any remaining Milwaukee Road engines I could find and much to my dismay, didn't find much. I did however get a lot of Soo Line roster shots and this was one of them.
Soo Line SD40B #6450 was built by EMD as BN SD40 #6302 in October of 1971. The BN re-built it as SD40B #7600 around 1984 and the Soo Line acquired it in 1987. The unit was retired in June of 2002.
