New motor 331ci, 600hp, $26000
This car originally built by Bitchin' Rides which is a reality styled Velocity TV show featuring Dave Kindig from the Salt Lake City, Utah-based company as they show their process of restoring and rebuilding vehicles. The show was successful in its first season and is currently on its fifth season while also becoming Velocity's most popular series. In each episode, Dave and his team meet a client, review a car, create a design, then the team takes apart and rebuilds the vehicle to create a beautiful unique masterpiece.
So, I'm just back from my third trip to Iceland. This was another hiking trip, organised by Alex Nail.
This was our beast of a superjeep, which we hired to take and collect us from our six day trip, along Langisjor lake, Iceland
This is a 600HP, 6.7L, 9-seater monster, custom built from two Ford Super Duty 4WD's joined together. The top of the bonnet is as high as the top of most cars.
Just add a beefy soundtrack (e.g. 'Giant' by Calvin Harris) and you'll feel like a rock star, in this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir6nk2zrMG0
In the winter, a superjeep is about the only kind of vehicle that will reliably get you up in the mountains. Our driver told us that he's driven this right along the surface of 13km lake, when it was frozen solid!

The fully restored W & J Yates of Blackburn 600hp cross compound steam engine built in 1884.
This is not the original engine in Masson Mill but is very similar to the one that once operated here.
This example came from Jubilee Mill in Padiham, Lancashire.
I first saw this engine back in 2004 when it's restoration had just started. Now, 16 years later, it is up and running.
With its 600hp English Electric turbo charged 4SRKT engine thumping loudly 205025 leaves Oxted with the 15:04 to Uckfield in the last rays of sunshine on 14th November 2000. Originally numbered as 1125 it was built as a three car unit at Eastleigh works entering service in December 1959. Known as 3h or "Hampshire" it was allocated to Eastleigh and would have spent a lot of its early years on the Southampton to Alton line before it closed in early 1973. It was also regular around Salisbury and spent a number of years on the Portsmouth to Bristol services in the mid 1970. In June 1986 the unit was renumbered as 205025 and by April 1998 had been reduced to a two coach unit with the removal and withdrawl of its centre coach. Privatisation saw it ending up based off Selhurst and painted in Connex yellow and white livery as seen in the photograph. Its days on the mainline came to a close in 2003 when new Class 170 units took over Oxted – Uckfield services and was lucky enough to enter preservation on the The Mid Hants Railway based at Alton, its former regular haunt. The owning group took delivered of the unit on 18 May 2004 and have since overhauled it and painted it back to its original green livery.

The frankly insane, one off racing car for the road Pulse GT1 being put through its paces around track.
Over 600hp, around 1,000kg and a central driving position like a McLaren F1!
