Lake Audy (50.7552, -100.2481), located in Southern Division, Manitoba, Canada spans 477.7 hectares (approximately 1180 acres or 4.8 square kilometers).
Riding Mountain National Park is a national park in Manitoba, Canada. The park is located within Treaty 2 Territory and sits atop the Manitoba Escarpment. Consisting of a protected area of 2,969 km2 (1,146 sq mi), the forested parkland stands in sharp contrast to the surrounding prairie farmland. It was designated a national park because it protects three different ecosystems that converge in the area; grasslands, upland boreal and eastern deciduous forests. It is most easily reached by Highway 10 which passes through the park. The south entrance is at the townsite of Wasagaming, which is the only commercial centre within the park boundaries

The lake has eight campgrounds, six beach areas, and nine boat launches. Visitors to Philpott should begin with a trip to the Visitor Center.

With the rumour that all GBRf examples of their operational class 60 are to be switched off on January 1st 2026 I thought I'd post my last images taken of class 60's in GBRf service.
No.60002 is seen with the 6N61 12:00 Drax Power Station – Tyne Coal Terminal working up to speed after passing Milford Sidings.
Very sad if this is the case.

Not sure whether the red colour is brick dust or iron ore but I liked the contrast with the black, it reminded me of a mini volcano!
DB class 60 015 hauls a suitably coloured rake of MMAs with stone through Gorstage with 6F07 Peak Forest - Warrington Dallam. April 18th 2018. Pole shot.
The ex Bow Fell is one of the small fleet of DB super 60's that are becoming increasingly rare in the north west. Previous regular flows to Brunner Mond, Hope St and Fiddlers Ferry are sadly no more.
