Okay, so she's not a puppy, but actually 11 or 12 years old. But she's still very active and *looks* like a puppy!! Especially with her summer haircut. :)
Today included some major annoyance in the form of horrible customer service emails from Retro Fitness, two of which got me so agitated and upset that I could not eat for a long time after. I had to be completely distracted...and tempted by fresh glass-noodle spring rolls (YUMx10000).
One of the high points of the day was talking to my grandmother. I owed her a Mother's Day celebration, since I spent the actual day with the boy's mother/fam. It is crazy to me that every single weekend since has been someone's birthday/holiday or we were away. Of course, this celebration will be a lot like the Memorial Day bbq I attended a few weeks back...while writing a paper at the dining room table, right next to the screen door where I could see everyone bbq'ing and drinking Yellow Birds. Hey...I got an A on the paper, so I shouldn't really complain!
Part of these festivities will likely include crabbing for Blueclaws.
So, anyway, in a major contrast from yesterday, in daylight, SOOC, my hair actually looks blonde. Eh, I got confirmation for the color consultation on Monday. Sometime in the next month, I'll probably be sporting a completely different color.
Being at my grandmother's for now means no internet access, unless I send pics from my phone. In three weeks, that will also be a major change; I will be at the point where I get a free phone upgrade, and I am heavily leaning toward a smartphone. This will be very helpful for school stuff as well as just generally handling life. I need one place where I can keep everything.
It is late and now I am rambling. The point was that I may not upload for the next few days while I am computerless.
This base once held an oil tank for the oil-burning steam locomotives. The date above the door is 1910.
Everything is from A Gal Named Cinda Lou, a vintage shop in Uptown Westerville, Ohio except the shoes, which are from an antique shop that is just up the street from Cinda Lou.
