Went out with some members of my camera club this evening, to experiment with long shutters, light trails, abstracts etc. I was the only one without a tripod, which was kind of deliberate - not just the fact that the screwing-on bit of the tripod is in our car which got stolen yesterday morning...
Anyway it meant I could be a bit more experimental so these are some of Worcester's Christmas lights, heart-ified.
Reflections taken at the "Regierungsviertel" in Berlin, Germany. This is NO montage but two windows who partially reflect combined with my chosen perspective.
5th April is my sister's birthday! And this was my present for her. This photo was taken in Mexico during last Christmas vacation.
DB Cargo 67014 drifts into Earlestown station working 1D34, 09:53 Manchester Piccadilly – Holyhead, 5th March 2019.
This shot is the end result of a 100 yard “sprint” from the south to east platform at Earlestown to the south to west platform after we had alighted from our Warrington – Liverpool service. We knew from our internet tracking of 1D34 it was already leaving Newton le Willows, three minutes running time away. I just made it but perhaps at almost sixty three years old I ought to be taking it a bit more steady.
Locomotive History
67014 is one of thirty General Motors class 67 locomotives built in Valencia, Spain in 2000. It still carries its silver livery from its days on Chiltern passenger duties from which it was displaced in 2015
