The Georgetown Loop is a 3-foot narrow gauge heritage railroad that travels a distance of 2 miles scaling an elevation of 640 feet over mountainous terrain, requiring trestles, cuts, fills, loops, and curves totaling 4.5 miles between Georgetown and Silver Plume. The line was originally constructed in 1884 for the Colorado Central Railroad route from Denver to the Clear Creek mining region, serving miners and their families and later an increasing number of tourists. The successor Colorado & Southern Railway abandoned the loop and the depot in 1939, but both were restored and reopened in 1984.

5cc / Barworks / LDR Creative invited Tasting Britain down to the launch of their latest outlet in City Road, Old Street. As a launch party, what you get is NOT representative of an actual dining/drinking experience, though you get to see what the place is like in a nutshell and basically PARTY HAADO with a bunch of people you have (usually) never met on a limited selection of cocktails. The amount of money that must be rinsed on a launch party terrifies my inner accountant (because we all have inner accountants, right?). Theyâre trying to bring back the Three Martini Lunch - except it this case it was more like the Twelve Martini Missed Dinner.
For those who don't know, the 5CC cocktail bars are basically subterranean, alcohol powered outlets that live underneath more conventional Barworks pubs (this one being the Singer Tavern - a grade II listed pub, dontchya know?). Speaking as a photographer, the lighting in these places is immaculate. Something about the way they design the interior just makes all your shots look like some next level Pulitzer Price winning shit, and without trying all that hard or putting in too much time in Photoshop. Which is nice when you've had a couple of Old Fashioneds and aren't doing too well at the whole 'manual focus thing'
So yeah, we've only visited one other so far, which was 5CC City Of London. That one focuses a little more on whisky (though not to the exclusion of their cocktail menu) and has some next level Scotch. I would like to come back to 5CC Singer Tavern and do a proper review. They supposedly focus on gin (someone tells me they have over 200?), and so we would put their gins to the test. Also the staff are bros and I reckon if they can survive the insanity of a launch night without losing it, theyâre going to do just fine in the long run. Well done (again) Barworks.
Additional fun fact - this area downstairs was the original basement production area for Singer sewing machines (hence the name). You can tell if you look carefully :3

The 500L was introduced in Aug. 1968 to accompany the more sober 500F. The 'L' stands for Lusso or Luxe, but don't expect to much of this predicate, the 500 stayed very basic.
The 500L is easily recognizable by its chrome bumper bars.

Negativo C41 Konica VX400 blanco y negro forzado 2 stops revelado en Rodinal 1:60 (5cc revelador + 285cc agua), a 20º durante 13min. Lavado. Paro con 50cc de vinagre y 250 de agua. Fijador Romek 100cc + Agua 200cc durante 4 min. Escaneo con Epson V300 como Negativo color sin corrección de color, contraste, brillo, eliminación de pelos o grano.
Características: Posee mucho más grano, gana contraste pero las imágenes subexpuestas son inservibles.
Experiment:
C41 Film Konica VX400 developed in Rodinal 1:60 (5cc developer + 285cc water), at 21Cº for 13min. Wash. Stop with 50cc de vinegar and 250cc water. Fixer Romek (Argentinian Trade Mark) 100cc + Water 200cc for 4 min. Epson V300 negative color scan without color correction. No contrast, no grain neither dust correction.
Note: Much more grain and contrast on perfectly exposed pics. Bad reaction on underexposed photos.

Fiat 500 'Giardiniera' Station Wagon
Produced: 1960-1977, 327000 produced.

Because the air-cooled rear-engined FIAT 500's were now well established, the 'Nuova' (New) title was dropped in 1960. In May 1960, FIAT reintroduced the 'Giardiniera' (Gardener) name that had been coined for the wooden bodied FIAT 500B Topolino Station Wagon in 1948.
The new version was more van-like in appearance and had an all metal body. The integrated body/chassis assembly used on the rear engined 500's allowed an increase in the wheelbase with only minor modifications to cables and pipework. Many of the components of the saloons were used, but the engine, brakes and rear suspension were unique to the 'Giardiniera'. Under the front bonnet the compact layout was untouched and would still only allow a minimal amount of 'soft' luggage to be squeezed in. Despite this, a heating/demisting system and window washers were fitted. Front opening 'suicide' doors were retained and these would be fitted for the entire duration of the Giardiniera's production life. A single, side hinged rear door opened onto a cargo platform that was so low that it was hard to believe that an engine was hidden underneath. But the standard 499.5cc engine had been cleverly adapted to lie on its side and was accessible beneath a flat hinged lift-up section of the rear floor. Unlike the saloon, with its narrow waistline ventilation grille across the back and two large grilles in the engine cover, the Giardiniera had a ventilation grille high up on the rear quarter panel on each side. These drew cooling air through wide flattened passages to the engine cowling via a very large fan mounted on the side of the engine. The cargo area could be extended to give a length of 1180mm (3'10.5") by folding the one piece rear seat down against the backs of the separate front seats, although it didn't fold completely flat. For longer, narrower loads, the front passenger seat could also be folded down. The roof of the Giardiniera was quite long and a folding top could be opened up far enough to expose the rear seats, but leaving a reasonable sized covered area behind them. As with the normal saloon, rear seat passengers had to fold down the appropriate front seat to gain access. The two doors had swivelling quarter lights and wind down windows and the large side windows in the sides of the body had one sliding window and one fixed window as on previous Station Wagons. A few panel vans were produced without the side windows. The window in the single rear door was fixed.
The Giardiniera was produced alongside the FIAT 500D until the Spring of 1968, when production was transfered to the FIAT SpA (Sezione Autobianchi) factory in Desio that FIAT had become sole owner of in 1963. At that time, the FIAT badge was replaced by the Desio badge and the car became known as the Autobianchi 'Giardiniera' until production ceased in 1977.

Rear: Independent with semi-trailing arms and large coil springs.
Note! Although the rear suspension layout is the same as the saloons, the trailing arms and coil springs are stronger to accommodate the weight of the longer body and extra cargo loads.
Telescopic shock absorbers to all four wheels, the rear ones being stronger than those fitted on the rear of the saloons.

Dante Giacosa's brilliant people's car, with a simple two-cylinder air-cooled engine tucked in the back to allow maximum use of the interior space, was perfect for the narrow streets of ancient Italian towns. Sales blossomed when usability was increased by fitting proper rear seats instead of a shelf, and uprating the engine from 479cc and 13bhp to 499.5cc and 17.5bhp, in the 500D of 1960. The full roll-back was characteristic of the earliest cars. While other 'microcars' inspired by the 1956 Suez crisis faded into obscurity, the 500 won everybody's heart and stayed in production until 1976, with 3.4 million sold.

The 500L was introduced in Aug. 1968 to accompany the more sober 500F. The 'L' stands for Lusso or Luxe, but don't expect to much of this predicate, the 500 stayed very basic.
The 500L is easily recognizable by its chrome bumper bars.

5cc / Barworks / LDR Creative invited Tasting Britain down to the launch of their latest outlet in City Road, Old Street. As a launch party, what you get is NOT representative of an actual dining/drinking experience, though you get to see what the place is like in a nutshell and basically PARTY HAADO with a bunch of people you have (usually) never met on a limited selection of cocktails. The amount of money that must be rinsed on a launch party terrifies my inner accountant (because we all have inner accountants, right?). Theyâre trying to bring back the Three Martini Lunch - except it this case it was more like the Twelve Martini Missed Dinner.
For those who don't know, the 5CC cocktail bars are basically subterranean, alcohol powered outlets that live underneath more conventional Barworks pubs (this one being the Singer Tavern - a grade II listed pub, dontchya know?). Speaking as a photographer, the lighting in these places is immaculate. Something about the way they design the interior just makes all your shots look like some next level Pulitzer Price winning shit, and without trying all that hard or putting in too much time in Photoshop. Which is nice when you've had a couple of Old Fashioneds and aren't doing too well at the whole 'manual focus thing'
So yeah, we've only visited one other so far, which was 5CC City Of London. That one focuses a little more on whisky (though not to the exclusion of their cocktail menu) and has some next level Scotch. I would like to come back to 5CC Singer Tavern and do a proper review. They supposedly focus on gin (someone tells me they have over 200?), and so we would put their gins to the test. Also the staff are bros and I reckon if they can survive the insanity of a launch night without losing it, theyâre going to do just fine in the long run. Well done (again) Barworks.
Additional fun fact - this area downstairs was the original basement production area for Singer sewing machines (hence the name). You can tell if you look carefully :3
