5 million views on my wellies!

Thank you to all my followers, likers, visitors and friends.

So I wanted to celebrate me FINALLY finishing persona 5 by building what I consider the coolest looking starter persona from any of the games, Arsene! (I mean, after 110 hours, this game devours free time).

I consider this the first version, Since I need to find a way to make the wings bigger while it can stand on its own (also the weight of the wings wouldn't allow for poses) I'm still searching for ways of doing the "horns" highlights better, but overall, I really like the shape, and the fact that somehow, it can stand with out any support, just its tiny legs.

Also, show some love for that hat.

I think I will do a better photo shoot with a red background soon, so stay tuned, and let me know what do you think of this build!

Pearl is 5 months old already!

It's weird. I sort of feel like I got gypped out of the puppy stage with Pearl.....at least looks wise!

She never really had that real puppy look like Raven did when she was small.

You know how most puppies go through that gangly stage? Pearl seemed to skip that

For a brief period of time her legs were a little long and lanky, but she's quickly grown into them and her big feet!

Even her face looks like a full grown dog.

Now, at 5 months she looks pretty well proportioned to me.

Good heavens! She's not even 1/2 year old yet, and has a lot more growing to go!

I think she's gonna be a very big girl!

Lord, you placed the stars in the sky, yet you call me beautiful!

estaban todas tan juntas

que no las podía contar.

Hoy sus hojas han caído

esparcidas en el suelo están...

Solo me cabe esperar

a que otras vuelvan a brotar

brindándome su belleza y su

perfume sin igual...

Inside a slightly familiar bunker somewhere in the city, Lori Silver and Micah Swan are suiting up, with a hologram display of the Mandalorian and Robin exiting the Batcave.

Lori: "It's so cool that you actually managed to locate the Batcave."

Micah: "It took a lot of recon and such, but it was easily found after we deduced Batman is Bruce Wayne."

Lori: "True."

As Lori puts on her armplates she starts to shake a little bit.

Micah: "You okay?"

Lori: "Just a bit nervous, that's all. I haven't seen him in three years. I never believed he was dead, but I'm really nervous to seeing him again."

Micah: "I get it. I'm guessing he missed you too a lot."

Lori: "You think?"

Micah: "Of course I do! When we were in school, you could see the love that the two of you shared for one another. That love won't be gone that easily."

Lori: "Thanks Micah."

She gives him a hug.

Lori: "Thanks for being here for me. I really needed someone during this period of time."

Micah: "Of course. That's what friends are for."

She lets go and puts on her bandana, as Micah puts on his helmet. Micah transfers the hologram to his gauntlet and a smaller hologram pops up.

Micah: "I must say, that that is a really nice suit."

Lori: "We always watched Star Wars together. At first he made me, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. What name does he go by now? Is it still Watcher?"

Micah: "Not sure. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Boba Bat."

Lori: "That is a certainty. Where are they heading?"

Micah: "Bank robbery downtown. If we head there now, they can take out the robbers, and then we can get to him."

Lori: "Sounds like a plan. Let's go!"

I found this picture on one of my harddrives this morning, a shot I took 5 years ago plus a couple months. It stands out because it is now the oldest shot in my photostream. I'd been taking shot since I was young, but most of those photos are either print, or on a computer's carcas somewhere in the abyss.

The day I took these shots I named my little "set" 'Gaining Back Inspiration'. Even if it'd be another 4 years until I started to fully embrace and meet my potential, it was still a pivotal day that's lead to all of the other's you've seen.

The smile on my face doesn't mean my life is perfect. It means I appreciate what I have and what God has blessed me with.

For Kim - Week 5 challenge

This is an old assignment so I hope by now things are better. If not.. this quote has had a lot of meaning to me in difficult times & I hope it does the same for you.

Start with a simple image.

Kim Klassen textures: Bien & Oro

Any border effects: Grunge edge 2

Two-tiered composition: I didn't really do this but I did add visual interest by adding in 3 rectangles.

This is 5 in the number series. I realized yesterday that I hadn't taken any in a while.

I'm considering doing a 365, thanks to alexstoddard for suggesting it. =]

I really like how this turned out. Yes, I did tear old pages out of a vintage book. Shame on me.

No, it was not easy getting these pages to stick. The bees were buzzing around me as I listened to "The XX" on my iPod. These pages fell down incessantly. I even used duct tape.

I'm considering doing a paint series since I love to use paint so much in photos. I am already doing two other series. But this one would be a lot of fun. And, of course, colorful.
