A fairly clean 558 leads 2226B on a westbound with 40 cars about 4 miles out of Trout Lake heading for Marquette on November 10, 1976. I already needed to use the snowmobile to reach this location a sure sign of another bad winter. The mid to late 70's were some of the worst winters I ever seen up here. Note the lineside telegraph lines are still in and operational on the Marquette line.
