Jasper has been conducting a local orchestra for a while now.
Last night, they performed a Vivaldi concerto. Brought tears to my eyes. Down at the civic center, Jasper is simply known as Maestro. We're very proud of him.
Jasper comes from a rather musical background. His registered AKC (American Kennel Club) name is Artisan the Music Man. And his human mother is a pianist. So there's no small surprise that music is a big part of his life
52 weeks for dogs ... week 34 ... OMG - OMD ...
With brainteasers, dogs are looking for treats or something fun in all kinds of materials and objects. The dog is stimulated to use his nose, but also to be creative if he cannot find it immediately.
With Drift things (ofcourse) don't go as planned ;) ... after a second of "thinking" he immediately started to throw the toilet rolls out of the box and scooped up the treats ;) ... I múst say ... very creative ... ór very hungry !

52 weeks in 2023 - Week 3 - Shadow
I love my hellebores, but I think it's a such a shame that the beauty of the flower is hidden by the drooping nature of the plant. A shot from below reveals their true beauty. Edited with a texture to give a botanical feel to my image.

Auf der zweiten Etappe von Löbau nach Meiningen fährt 52 8141 mit einem Begleiterwagen durch Saaleck.
I've had a little fun with a small mirror, my ipad and some water storing gel beads this week. I picked the gel beads up in a local craft shop - they are normally used for flower arrangements. It was a bit tricky getting a symmetrical composition and the air was blue trying to get the three beads lined up as they are so watery and kept rolling around on the mirror. :-)

28/52: The weekly challenge - Long exposure
Two Jack lake, another beautiful lake in Banff. Less crowded than Lake Louise so made for a much more pleasant experience.
Simply taken with my phone, but it captures the silly, sweet personality of Dunkel. He's got a rough life, eh?
Smudge .. not really wanting to pose in the broom and making his thoughts about such matters very plain by giving me a huge yawn ... ie. I dont want to that ... id rather chase the ball (which you happen to have in your hand), rather than sit in this smelly stuff!

it was a hot afternoon, Biscuit ended up using the doggy pool as a bathtub once we got back, cooled himself right down after his 10min soak :-)
Smudge .... getting much more attentive these days to me which is a good trait as he's actually listening and obeying. I think also I might have found his forte ... unfortunately. depending on which way you look at it or whose side you're on, it appears to be canicross!
Eva gets a little scruffy. We do shave her coat down twice a year, but doing so at this time of year would be cruel given our winter temperatures in Saskatchewan.
I was at a loss of what to do for her photo this week and was trying reflection shots on the hardwood. I loved the natural light so I got her to stand up do a paw shot. When I saw her scruff highlighted against the dark background I knew that I had my concept. So I told her to stay and she did so until I got the shot. When I told her that we were done, she just ran immediately into the kitchen and stared at the cookie tin. She really is a pro model.
