This was the view looking out of the window of D&H 502 as it switched the yard in Oneonta, NY on July 30, 1978. FA Tower is behind the units and N&W geeps are parked to the left.
An LMS 1940 built class 502 unit at Southport. M29872 at this end. The 502 spent all their working lives on the Northern rail section. All were withdrawn by late 1980 so this must have been one of the last. I don't know if it was still in service.
Took these last night at 1 in the morning. This was the coldest I've ever been, but I've got to say, these late night shoots are my favorite.

So this is a thing that has happened. about a week ago, after sitting on 499 for a while, I finally hit 500 followers. Honestly I just want to thank you guys so much for all the help you guys have given me over the years. A special thanks to Opel blitz driver who got me on this site in the first place as well as to Brick dude and Forgotten bricks and all my other friends out here. Both those I have met and those who I only know by there usernames. I've added my friends, people who have helped me to become the some what good builder I am today, and finally those who have inspired me. Expect more (hopefully) great things in the future!

Lothian are in the process of updating their Airlink fleet with a batch of Volvo B5TL's with Wright Eclipse Gemini bodywork. The existing fleet are only two years old, but that batch are expected to oust some non-standard Scania OmniCity's from the 35 service, which were initially Airlink vehicles in 2006. 502 is SF17 VOY seen here leaving the Airport.
