I'm not sure what I did wrong - hardly any of my links are showing up properly. I'll try to put a note on each photo with a link back to the original.

Anyway, these photos are for color reference. I hope they help some! Colors are blue & green with hints of red if you want to go there, with any shade of grey or white as the neutral.

Edit: I don't know how much direction we're supposed to give the people in our hive as far as preference, but I'm just going to throw this out there. I'm not a huge fan of patchwork blocks that look like things. You know, flower baskets, tea cups, houses, etc.

4x5 polaroid from September.

I think I might want to start possibly shooting medium format and just make c-prints rather then use the dark room. Hmm...

ready to run.

de las primeras hechas en gran formato. que todavía no había publicado aquí

Just to plug film a little...see what can be done with a Razzle 900 4x5, an old chipped lens, a 10 year old scanner and no added Photoshop....Razzle was hand held using two radio triggered flash heads, ERA 100 ISO film in HC for 6 minutes. Neg scanned using my old tweaked Arcus 1200. Don is indeed an 'Artist of Montsalvat'....I left the pumpkins in shot to add a little depth.

Wista dx. Better large.

Spring back. Finish applied to part of it so I could install light seals around perimeter of the well where the film holder sits. I designed this back to fit regular 4x5 film holders as well as roll film and Polaroid pack film holders (thus the bail and really long spring ends). The little shackles that connect the ground glass holder to the leaf springs took a lot of trial and error to make! I devised a way to bend brass strips into the correct shape and then soldered brass rod into them. Works fairly well!
