A contemporary model of a planned paddle frigate ordered by Spain in 1840 but cancelled. She would have been 1,350 tons burthen and armed with 32x32 pdrs. At the Science Museum, South Kensington, 15 November 2008. The design was effectively a mildly modified, slightly enlarged version of HMS Gorgon with a more conservative armament.
HMS Gorgon was designed by Sir William Symonds and John Edye as a First Class Sloop with a 320 nhp, 800 ihp Seaward & Capel ‘Gorgon’ type steam engine (specially designed for the vessel) driving paddle wheels (a very vulnerable structure in a warship). The ship was still built of wood, was originally schooner-rigged but subsequently brig-rigged.
HMS Gorgon was built at Pembroke Dockyard, launched in 1837 and completed in 1838, being broken up in 1864. She measured 178 ft x 37 ft x 23 ft, had a burthen of 1,108 tons and a displacement of 1,610 tons. Her armament on the upper deck was 2x10” pivot shell guns (forward one replaced by 1x68 pdr in 1868) plus 2x68 pdrs & 2x42 pdr carronades (replaced in 1856 by 4x32 pdrs) on broadside trucks. She was later used as a troopship and helped lay the Atlantic cable in 1858.

The Advantage of a Barnett Avenger Recruit Crossbow
The Barnett X-90 crossbow is a powerful weapon that comes with 140 pounds of draw weight. Its 108-yard bolt throw is capable of dealing 118 feet of kinetic energy. With a rate of 365 feet per second, its arrows shoot with a high velocity. This weapon has standard noise reduction technologies that make it whisper-quiet, compared to other crossbows of comparable power.
The Recruit model comes with a front-end quiver that is parallel to the barrel. It has a 4x32 scope that is suitable for this crossbow caliber. It is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for long distance hunting. Its powerful arrows can kill a large animal with ease. This weapon is extremely effective against large and dangerous wild animals. For those who hunt mainly in the city, it is also possible to use a hunting arrow with extended blades. These arrows can leave a large animal virtually unharmed.
The Recruit is not a beginner's crossbow. It is meant for seasoned archers. Its trigger is metal-injected, which ensures smoothness and tightness. The barrel is made from a composite material, so it is extremely durable. It also comes with a built-in anti-dry-fire mechanism, which prevents the frame from splinters.
The Barnett Avenger Recruit is not a beginner's crossbow. It is designed for experienced archers who want to use it for long periods. It comes with an ergonomic design that enables the user to cock and uncock with a smooth motion. The anti-dry-fire mechanism prevents frame splinters and crossbow damage. With a high-quality crossbow, hunting becomes more enjoyable and less stressful.
The Barnett Avenger Recruit crossbow is not a beginner's crossbow. It is made for experienced archers who want to shoot at a large animal. The arrows of this crossbow can shoot at 330 feet per second. The energy of the arrows can cause a fatal wound 100 yards away. The arrows made with the Barnett avenger crossbow can be used for hunting with an extended blade.
The Barnett avenger crossbow is the best choice for experienced archers. The speed and power of this crossbow make it an ideal choice for hunters. The Recruit also features a patented anti-dry-fire mechanism that prevents string splinters from damaging your crossbow's frame. This reloading feature is very useful for experienced archers who need to shoot at long ranges.
Besides being powerful and accurate, the Avenger Recruit crossbow is also quiet. Its trigger has been molded with metal that increases its smoothness and tightness. The Avenger Recruit has a high-quality frame with a smooth and silent pull. It is also easy to cock and has a solid center point. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, the Barnett avenger is an excellent choice for you.
The Barnett avenger crossbow is an excellent choice for experienced archers. Its 330-foot-per-second bolts have enough energy to kill a deer. In addition, the crossbow is quieter than other types of crossbows. The avenger Recruit weighs just 6.4 pounds, which makes it an excellent choice for beginners. Availing a Barnett avenger is an excellent decision if you're a serious hunter.
The Barnett avenger is an excellent choice for experienced archers. It is fast and powerful and is quiet. It also offers a metal-injected trigger, which provides a smooth and tight action. This ensures that the string won't break when you shoot it. This makes it a great choice for hunters who prefer a stealthy crossbow. This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile weapon.
The Barnett avenger is a good choice for people who enjoy hunting. It is made in the USA and features ergonomic designs for most shooters. Its stock is adjustable so that you can adjust the vertical forward grip. This is an excellent option for beginners. You can use it in a variety of ways, ranging from hunting to target shooting. You can make it more precise with a stand, which is a great choice for many target shooters.

Build was constructed using @1233 Zen Magnets and consisted of a tapered cylindrical Fuselage, rear Delta Wings, Tail Fin + Engine, front Canard Wings, and pilot Cockpit.
The challenge was to achieve the distinctive Canard shape with the limitation of certain magnet angles and tricky mix of duo coupled/parallel magnetic alignments.
