my winter beater took it hard!

Latest changes to my 4Runner include new ProComp rims, Demello front off-road bumper, and Smittybilt XRC10 winch (synth line not yet spooled).

 

1986 Toyota 4Runner after applying "NuFinish". It looked like this for about 3 weeks,

A solo exploratory trip to find unmarked campsites near Mt Adams.

2002 Toyota 4Runner Sport with 109k miles. This vehicle is in great condition with only a few minor scratches in the paint. It runs flawlessly and has recently had the tires, brakes, radiator, and battery replaced.

Latest 2023 Case G recolour of the still very fresh Matchbox 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Finished in an authentic Toyota factory blue for me personally its actually better looking than its previous maroon release though both versions are quite impressive for a budget diecast.

The usual modern Matchbox cost cutting signs are evident such as the lack of metal door posts but when you remember how little they cost in many countries you can understand such sacrifices.

Giving the KDSS system a stretch today, going down a fire road that is quickly becoming a single track.

Not to be confused with a Toyota model that came later, called the Highlander. The hood scoop helps increase horsepower by adding ram air. Well, not really on this truck, since it is blocked off, but it looks cool.

This was the 1987 4Runner that replaced the 1985 4Runner (seen elsewhere in my photos) after it got stolen. Unfortunately, this one got stolen too, after only having for about a year.

Out on the salt flats last week for Speed Week.
